My reasons: - Copying instagram - Games are pretty boring - I have 0 clue how to post anything - Will not shut up about getting SuperFan I'm not kidding with that last one I get like 13 billion messages a day just telling me to get superfan. I don't think it's worth the money either. You just get a few little perks and that's it. It was so fun tho ### 2/5 — RIP *2023-01-13* this really was fun at first. the features were easy to use, the concept was simple, a lot of people got along very well. a LOT of people didn’t. naturally there were fights and people cancelling other people. but I think in attempt to control this, the developer got stricter in what was considered inappropriate to post. a lot of innocent people got banned, a lot of problematic stuff went unscathed. there were problems with doxxing and privacy. when unnecessary bans and restrictions were made, they kept referencing the TOS (which they claimed remained the same throughout) and it was either incorrect, an erroneous interpretation of a post, or similar to other users posts who didn’t get in trouble. what was considered “spam” was not clearly defined and not treated equally. when the mod team showed up, more people were getting wrongfully banned/restricted. when users started to catch on, understandably everyone’s posting asking “what gives?”. the mod team handled the situation immaturely and singled out a user for calling them out (despite many others making similar critique posts), making them a target for harassment outside of the app. the developer disabled the feed and shut it down later due to personal reasons. so yeah. Creators social media post make it clear this is not fan created and just non fans making money off fans. Snarky post about Swift. ### 1/5 — Disappointing *2024-11-03, version 2.11.1* I was one of the people who had this app in late 2022 / early 2023 when you could still post things freely and interact with other swifties easily and in my opinion I just think without that feature the app isn’t very enjoyable. Ofc i understand that Twitter type of app was problematic and hard to manage with only a limited amount of people monitoring, so I can get why the app needed to change, however the only feature that allows you to speak freely and connect with others is now locked behind a paywall?? Despite all that, I think the app still has some cool features like Lyric Rush, which i really enjoy, but I just couldn’t see myself using this for hours like I did when it first came out, it just gets boring and repetitive after a while. If the new team of developers could ever find a way to bring something similar to the old feed back to the app it would be great, but ofc I know nothing about developing an app other than its a hard thing to do so I’m just gonna leave it at that. If anyone’s reading this thanks for listening to my yap sesh<3 ### 1/5 — Sensitive immature creator *2022-12-09* Very upset with the “developer” of this app, got a whole ip ban for no specific reasons other than this creators pettiness and favoritism on this app with some of the accounts on there. If he sees something he doesn’t like (so much for free speech) he will immediately ban you no questions asked. Once people started to notice that, he has proceeded to message specific accounts about their content while it was unfair that others got an immediate ban before. His immaturity ruined the fun on this app by silencing lgbtq+ users and ignoring all accounts posting about hate speech (racial/homophobic slurs) violence, death threats, and inappropriate pictures that should never be on a app like this. When confronted about it all he said was to report accounts that do these things. Reporting accounts did nothing as he doesn’t review them because accounts posting hate speech and etc still have their accounts meanwhile others were banned with no explanation. ### 1/5 — No for me *2022-12-04, version 1.2.8* I didn’t like it why we get a sign in Apple why we don’t have another choice to sign in most of us don’t have an Apple account 😞 ### 1/5 — unban people *2022-11-29, version 1.2.6* This app was so fun at first but the owner is so soft. Ben(the owner) allows people to call people slurs, post shirtless images and write suggestive messages. Accounts bullying others for their looks for NO REASON stayed up longer than my last account. I was banned for no reason 5 times when all i did was respond to hate and joke amongst my friends. The “hate club” was not bullying and was falsely accused of doxxing someone which led to being mass reported. He then changed the age limit to 17+ which realistically was only because the hate clubs oldest member is 17 and he could justify banning us. Anyone creating a fan app for a POP STAR knows full well that the majority of its users are going to be minors and assuming otherwise is ridiculous.
