I paid for this app and would love to use it as my main keyboard when this is fixed!!! ### 1/5 — Comes Closest To What Android Does Natively - STILL BIG FAIL!! *2022-01-12, version 1.3.1* Android keyboard can do what SwiftBoard does natively, without an additional app. Worse, this app struggles with knowledge of what words should be capitalized like Tuesday, which no matter how many times I fixed it and other simple proper nouns in a Contacts note, would remove capital letters and spaces I insert between words and create huge run on words, refusing to allow me to create corrections to a horribly misspelled mash of letters. This and thousands of weaknesses are why android users will never switch to ios. It's a garbage os. xfinity mobile has refused hundreds of efforts to start a return online or over the phone in past 2 weeks since I got it. They went so far as to remove return interface from user account controls, which were there when device arrived, then disconnected while I was in the hospital. I've had the SwiftKey app for as long as I can remember and this isn't it. I tried and tried to be patient and get used to its defects because no keyboard is perfect; however, this is a product that's still in development. The autocorrect only works every so often, which will really test one's patience. The extra length in it's vertical design will cause you to constantly miss the spacebar, and because of the practically nonexistent autocorrect, you have to constantly stop and do manual corrections and you're in luck if the swipe-delete will even comply. Not for anyone that needs to type as fast as their fingers can move, or even at the average speed. NO DISCLOSURE ON HOW OUR DATA IS BEING USED. Although the SwiftBoard isn't perfect, it is BY FAR the best text-friendly (iOS) keyboard that I've managed to find. Here are the pros: A). English teachers, rejoice! With this app, it is now possible to use numbers and standard punctuation without having to jump between multiple screens; this app has renewed my hope for the future of the written word! B). To insert the alternative number/punctuation/symbol, users only need to slide a thumb "up" or "down to select the correct option and C). The spell check is very accurate. Although I'm obviously infatuated, the one flaw that I have found is that the keys/text are very small, though (so far) my typing errors have been minimal. To take it to the next level (after enlarging the keyboard), it would be great if the developer could include a personalizable 5th row and a search option (like GBoard).... Because of this app, I may actually consider a future iPhone purchase. This app has finally brought a haptic keyboard to iOS that feels great and natural. With the latest update (as of 09/18) , this has become my default keyboard. Keep it up! ### 5/5 — It's what I have been searching for!!! *2017-11-27, version 1.2.3* First let me start off by saying I have tried most of the third party keyboards on the app store looking for one that lets me actually customize it. I mean really customize everything about it and most other keyboards will let you change 1 or 2 things about the keys and then you pick a preset design and that's it, well that's not enough for me. I really like this keyboard because I really can customize almost everything about the keyboard which surprisingly this is the only one I have found that lets you do that. What I like best about it is that the developer is still updating this keyboard regularly and improving it which again the majority of other keyboards on the app store haven't had an update in a year or more which causes stability issues like with the keyboard I used before this one. All in all I would definitely recommend this keyboard to anyone that really wants a unique style and to top it off this keyboard offers a 5th row for only $1.99 - SOLD!!! The only thing I wish this app had that it doesn't is the option to change the keyboard font and maybe some more emoji's to choose from but maybe that will be added in a future update. I am a regular customer and I did not receive this app at a discounted price in exchange for my review nor did the developer ask me for a review in any way. I paid full price for this keyboard and I am happy that I did.
