The font size of texts cannot be changed. Do it was not usable for those who need larger font to read. 2. Pictures can’t be copied and the pasted to the cards. Being able to create our own flash cards has opened our level of studying exponentially. -ability to identify our areas of needed study -opportunity to type that info onto a card -later revisit that card and document your correct or incorrect answer -ability to observe your continued progress Company is extremely supportive to its customers and answers questions directly. Flashcards are key. I’ve tried out a few flashcard apps over the years, but this one is by far the best one. It’s easy to use, aesthetically pleasing, and never crashes. The test feature is a great way to figure out what I do and don’t know so I can focus on filling in gaps in my knowledge. The app is super easy to use, and the images/drawings feature is really convenient. The basic options are fine. The category system is poor and the drawing option is just incredibly aweful. ### 5/5 — Effective *2019-06-02* *Using on iPad Pro* I have only been using the app for a few days but it is effective and convenient. While studying, It allows you to categorize correct and incorrect responses and provides a percentage of correct vs. incorrect answers at the end of each test. You can separate the cards into sections when creating them and can study the cards by a category of your choosing, in order, or randomly. You control the length of time the question side of the card is displayed before the answer is revealed. You also have the option of seeing the answer before the timer stops. It seems to be a good app so far. If you are not a fan of paper or tend to misplace your index cards like myself, this app is the way to go. ### 5/5 — Super helpful study aid! *2019-04-27* I have tried many study apps and this one is my favorite by far. Making and customizing flash cards is a cinch. It has some really great features, and I especially love how quickly you can get your questions answered. Compared to other flashcard apps I have used in the past, this app is easier to use, provides great data and feedback, and has helped me become more productive. As a study aid, I can use it wherever I am, with all of the features provided at no extra cost. Other apps I’ve used have looked too disorganized, but the instructions here are very straightforward and the cards/app look amazing. This has been a worthwhile investment, and I really do love how easy it is to use! I would definitely recommend this app! ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Doesn't sync with iCloud *2024-12-27, version 7.6* this app does not use iCloud for syncing. After purchasing the app, you have to pay a subscription fee for syncing and other features. That's not entirely clear in the app description ### 1/5 — Doesn’t work *2024-02-26* I’m on iOS 17.3.1 and find that none of the test types work as advertised. Least Recently Tested gives me the same cards over and over again, when there are hundreds of cards in the deck that it has never presented. Swift Card Importance is not defined clearly, but also presents the same limited number of cards over and over, even when I’ve gotten them right a dozen times in a row or more. Random also presents the same cards over and over. As far as I can tell, there’s no way to make sure that you get tested on all the cards in the deck. This might be useful if you have 20 or so cards that you want to get drilled on, but it’s worthless if you’re trying to drill foreign language vocabulary or any other subject involving hundreds or thousands of cards. **Developer response:** Hi Jim, we took your feedback seriously and added a new test type in our most recent update: Least Tested. This test method will show you the cards that have been tested the least (including cards you haven't tested before). This should address your concern if you believe you are getting the same SwiftCards tested repeatedly. That being said, SwiftCard is perfect for learning subjects with hundreds of cards, and the other test methods work for that too. ### 1/5 — Already Disappointed *2022-05-23, version 3.1* I just bought this and I’m already frustrated I wasted $10. After figuring out how to add photos and making a few flash cards, they don’t appear in my library. I close the app and reopen it and they’re there, but if I click on any tabs and return to library, they’re gone again. When I pay for apps they should run and look great. I requested a refund and apple store denied right the way. The biggest issue on this app in my case is that when I used an image in a flash card, the image can be moved here or there accidentally while I was just trying to flip the card or take the test. Besides that it’s annoying to manually re-center the image, since it wont lock the image in place, “accidents “ just keep happening. Also no eraser for the “draw image “ so if made a mistake, you either have to start over or keep undoing until you get what you want. ### 1/5 — amateur *2019-07-08, version 3.1* MUST interact with cards at all time. Cannot just browse and flip. Will NOT do infinite study, have 5 cards will only show you 5 cards, again will NOT continue past 5. Worst, refunding. Update: No, infinite option only works on one card at a time, not the deck. If you try to do infinite with the deck you have to grade each card. You cannot just flip. ### 1/5 — Don’t waste your Money *2019-02-19, version 3.1* You are better off just using quizlet which is FREE. I totally forgot about quizlet and downloaded this app. I ended up deleting it due to its glitches and poor layout. ### 1/5 — No cost ones are better *2019-01-08, version 3.1* It randomly deletes cards, freezes ever 5 minutes, and won’t let me add cards to existing categories... so incredibly frustrating and a waste of time! ### 1/5 — Updates are lacking *2018-10-24, version 2.2.1* I used to love this app mainly bc I thought it was going somewhere due to its responsive customer service, but recently, updates have just been... well, nonexistent. Creator seems to be too busy to make time for any improvements. I have voiced many concerns that haven’t been answered for months. The vibes? Certified bussin. I tapped in and instantly SwiftCard was giving main character energy, like why is SwiftCard lowkey life-changing?? SwiftCard understood the assignment, ate, left zero crumbs, and then said “bet, I’ll do it again.” On god this is peak, I’m not even glazing—okay maybe a little—but it deserves.
