### 1/5 — Backup option doesn't work at all

Deleting the app or transferring to another phone doesn't work at all and is a steal of $9 as well as false advertising as the issue has persisted since the apps release probably and the creator has been made well aware of the issue, yet continues to market the fault.

**Developer response:** Sorry for this experience. We rebuilt the backup/restore flow in version 2.0.0, including a new manual backup import/export option and clearer iCloud backup checks. Please update and use Cloud Sync > Check for iCloud Backup, or Settings > Export/Import Backup. If anything still fails, email diagnostics from Cloud Sync so we can inspect the issue.

### 1/5 — unable to retrieve the backup

Im a premium user. i have everything backed ip to cloud. but when in reinstalled the application nothing shows up. no data is retrieved. no response from support team after multiple emails.

**Developer response:** You’re right to expect restore to work as a premium user. Version 2.0.0 improves iCloud restore handling and adds a manual backup fallback with diagnostics for restore issues. Please update, then open Cloud Sync > Check for iCloud Backup. If restore still does not show your files, use Email backup diagnostics so we can help with the exact sync state.

### 2/5 — Good Idea, poor execution

First of all, the idea of an app that syncs a private library to your icloud is exactly what I’ve been looking for, so when I found swiftlocker I was excited. After a couple of weeks use of the app, I have found several problems including performance, graphical errors, and several more inconveniences that make the app hard to use. Don’t spend your money until this app has at least been updated one time.

**Developer response:** Thanks for the detailed feedback. We’ve been improving reliability, restore behavior, and usability, with version 1.0.4 focused specifically on backup/restore trust, manual backup, and diagnostics. We’ll keep tightening performance and UI issues in upcoming updates.
