Why do I have to “top up” a “wallet”. I’m not giving you more money than I actually owe! ### 1/5 — Useless *2024-10-01, version 2.0.00* If I could give no stars to rate this app I would. Spent ages trying to create an account then my payment method wasn’t accepted. If I get a parking ticket as a result, you lot will be paying it. My banks fraud dept does not trust transactions like this. There is no justifiable reason you need to know both my email and phone number just so I can pay for some parking. Councils need to stop trying to design apps when they can’t afford to pay for competent programmers. It’s also yet ANOTHER parking app to clog your phone with. Just get a contract with one of the big parking apps instead of trying to create your own. ### 1/5 — Received a fine *2025-06-02, version 2.1.5* Absolutely appalling app that has resulted in me receiving a £50 PCN. Completely unclear that you have to top up a “wallet” to pay for parking! Never have I ever come across something so stupid. ### 1/5 — Not fit for purpose *2025-05-25, version 2.1.5* Parking apps need to be designed to get people through the process as quickly as possible. The fact that this app, for example, has you choose your address from a list ordered entirely at random (rather than 1-xxx as you would expect) means that precisely zero time was spent testing it against user stories. The fact that it also doesn’t allow you to autofill your card details, not have PayPal or Apple Pay, means a desperate scrabble for a physical card - and if that’s the case, just let us pay by card at the parking machine instead. ### 1/5 — Can’t remove card details *2025-01-11, version 2.1.5* Downloaded today realised the app saved all my card details which I don’t normally do I do not want my details left on the app it does not let you remove bank details ??? Also it charged me an extra pound for some reason not sure why ??? Tried to delete app click submit then it says it can only be deleted when you get link email which you have to click this to verify you want to delete account which I still haven’t got yet what a faff all I wanted was a parking ticket ### 1/5 — Robbing b stars can’t even create a decent app. *2024-11-28, version 2.1.3* Dudley council screwing local businesses out of greed charging for village parking. App needs topping up £3 to pay for £2.50 parking. Robbing C U Next Tuesdays. . And no Apple Pay? What is this 1995???? Absolute shambles of a council. Already wrecked Dudley town centre now systematically coming after the villages… Won’t be happy til the whole borough is derelict. ### 1/5 — Appalling *2024-11-22, version 2.1.3* Possibly the worst parking app I’ve ever used. As others have said it’s not possible to simply pay for parking and have to top up. You have to add a card and cannot use Apple Pay either. I have my phone so I don’t have to carry a card! Avoid it. Why my local authority picked this is beyond me ### 1/5 — Poor user interface along *2024-10-29, version 2.0.00* Whilst the app is very poorly designed, the fact that you can not just ‘pay’ for the allocated time and have to ‘top up’ your account with a minimum amount is a poor approach. A consumer should NOT have to have an open wallet just to pay for parking. A big shame as having read your responses on ‘thriving to improve…’ nothing appears to have changed. ### 1/5 — Not even worth 1 star *2024-10-14, version 2.0.00* Avoid. Use if you have no other choice. Need top ups rather than pay for actual parking which is ridiculous. No choice for multiple days parking. It’s either a day or a week!?
