### 4/5 — SwiftScales

*2025-06-18, version 2.3.0*

It’s a good app other than the adds and I love the breathing exercises and that u can costumize the scales great for beiginers 🎼🤪😎 Jesus loves u also google up John 3:16

### 2/5 — Not intuitive

*2023-08-10, version 2.3.0*

It is very unclear how you are supposed to use the app. I’m not going to watch a “how to use the app” video like they prompt. It’s 2023, make your app Intuitive.

### 2/5 — No flip screen :(

*2023-07-05*

The app itself is ok, but the interface is hopeless, I use a Magic Keyboard with my ipad but because there is no flip screen, I’m forced to detach my ipad from the keyboard and flip it vertically, that’s very uncomfortable and frustrating, id like to use this app and might even consider buying it, but not like this….

### 3/5 — No sound

*2022-11-11, version 2.1.6*

This app looks great but there is no sound coming from the phone speakers. It’s definitely not my phone but the app. I tried putting the ringer down and still did not work

### 4/5 — No sound … until unmuted ringer/alert volume

*2022-02-09, version 2.1.6*

Couldn’t get app to play though phone speakers. Saw developer comment to other reviews regarding this issue. Tried it and that worked. No other music app I have works like this, but I guess there’s a reason. Before using the app further, wanted to update my previous review.

### 3/5 — Audio issues

*2021-09-17, version 2.1.6*

Can’t get audio to work for the app, all other apps are giving audio properly… (I’m using an iPhone)

### 1/5 — Purchased the Pro Version

*2021-06-02, version 2.1.6*

### 5/5 — It’s awesome

*2020-08-31, version 2.1.6*

### 1/5 — Junk

*2026-01-20, version 3.0.0*

Buried in ads, trapped in “you’re on MUTE!” I’m not on mute, y’all. Never worked once. Deleted.

### 1/5 — Was great when it worked

Loved this app until it recently stopped working entirely

### 1/5 — No sound.

*2025-02-12, version 2.3.0*

I downloaded this with the intention of paying for the full version but there is zero sound. I’ve gone through all of the demos, ensured that my phone isn’t accidentally connected to a Bluetooth devise, but it won’t play any sounds.

### 1/5 — Terrible

*2024-08-28, version 2.3.0*

Clunky design, plagued with seedy ads, muted/no sound.

### 1/5 — Glitches!

*2024-06-12, version 2.3.0*

Terrible. I’ve used this app for years and was very pleased with it but these last couple of weeks it’s glitching and I cannot see myself using this anymore. Not sure why u became a pro user if I can’t share scales anymore

**Developer response:** Hi Belinkaya,

Hopefully you can forgive us considering you've had so many good years with SwiftScales 😊. There was a major server problem that affected the sharing center, but it is fixed now!

### 1/5 — No sound

*2021-06-12, version 2.1.6*

On my se2 no sound :(

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — You may need new phone

*2025-09-23, version 3.0.0*

I had it for years and loved the app. Updated a few months ago and it stopped working. Was very sad. Turns out I just needed a new phone, it was too old.

### 5/5 — App Won’t Open

*2025-09-20, version 3.0.0*

Having issues where this beautiful app won’t open. Any possible solutions it just opens black page then crashes?

### 5/5 — Excellent Training Program

*2025-06-27, version 3.0.0*

I have been using Swift Scales diligently since 2019 and have found it to be very beneficial and highly convenient to train anywhere.

Unfortunately, since the automatic update to version 3.0.0, it is no longer opening on my phone. Each time I attempt to open the app, it immediately crashes. This happens before the splash screen even appears.

MY SPECS:
iPhone X
iOS 16
Swift Scales v3.0.0

Thanks to the team for creating this valuable tool. Hopefully the issue I am experiencing can be troubleshooted effectively and resolved swiftly.

### 5/5 — I found the free version unusable, but love the paid

*2025-03-03, version 2.3.0*

At four dollars for add free use, don’t waste your time trying to deal with the add one like I did. After just a day I felt like I got my money’s worth. Unlike another scales app I used, this one goes about as low as most guys can go and way out of my range on the top. With a few months use my range has expanded by almost a whole octave. There are a lot of features I’d like to add, like making it landscape usable, having sustain on the piano sound, adjusting speed as the scales are running, have a hold button to do the same scale over and over, but this wish list doesn’t take away from what value this app has. I use it at least once a day. Probably the best four bucks I’ve ever spent.

### 5/5 — Most Useful Singing App

*2024-10-18, version 2.3.0*

This app should be in every would-be singer (and experienced singer’s) toolbox. The free version has it all, but for four bucks you can get rid of the ads and you’ve got your daily practice routine available to you everywhere your phone goes. Excellent. Now if I just had a better voice…

### 5/5 — No app that I know of like it

*2023-11-01, version 2.3.0*

I’ve been using this app for five years and is largely responsible for my progression with singing as I’m driving to and from work. There’s no other app that allows me so far that I’ve seen 2 practice. Scales with unique emphasis on agility or pitch or whatever parameter I’m needing to work on, it’s also amazing that I can pay 399 and make all the ads go away forever with no subscription.

### 5/5 — For the no sound issue

*2023-03-16, version 2.3.0*

Make sure your phone has the silent mode off

### 5/5 — It works for me!!

*2021-06-29, version 2.1.6*

I have found this app to be simple to navigate and straight to the point. Compared to other pricy apps, this one gets you to practice effectively for near no financial involvement. How do they do that is beyond me.

### 5/5 — Awesome

*2021-01-30, version 2.1.6*

You know some singing apps cost money to buy, just like singing course online, with this app, it offers you a wide range of excercises. It can listen to your singing voice. It doesn’t matter if your a bad singer, this will help you! Start from scratch, and build you’re way up! Don’t forget to squeeze in 30min- 1hour of singing a day! You can even Improve in 1 year!

### 5/5 — Honestly, EXACTLY what I needed.

*2020-10-31, version 2.1.6*

Simple to use. I love that you can create your own warmups. Wish that the BPM can be lower than 100. But other than that, it’s so worth it. It looks a a little messy, but it serves its purpose. I don’t play piano, so this app is a great way to keep my vocalsss in check. Lip trills, simple scales, you name it.
