### 4/5 — Payment

*2026-04-02, version 9.18*

You have to pay for the app after running codes 10 times.

### 4/5 — This is the lowest review I have given.

*2024-12-26, version 9.8*

The introduction of the app is incomplete and does not support SwiftUI. The screenshot is misleading, making people think that you can use the latest Swift 5.8.1 after purchasing the App, but only Swift 5.1 is supported after purchase. The logic of software charging is extremely unreasonable. As a paid software, editing and exporting should be the most basic functions of a complete App. It is understandable to provide subscriptions for value-added services, but it is unacceptable to take basic export services as part of subscription services. The worst thing is to refuse a refund.

A very convenient application. It works like clockwork. The code guide is very convenient. Compiles well. I use Swift to learn the language. The support service responds quickly and kindly. I recommend the program. Thanks to the developer.

### 5/5 — Fantastic App

*2024-07-03*

I really appreciate the app 🎉
Thank you for this amazing opportunity to coding on iPhone. Exploring language.
I don’t really think that it’s gonna become some kind of full IDE, I want it to support multithreading (GCD) though. And now it don’t print anything in console. Please fix this bug.🐛

**Developer response:** Thank you for your review!
Please update to version 9.4.5 to check if the bug is resolved. Also, feel free to contact us via email or Telegram (from the app, press Settings > Contact Us).

### 3/5 — Can I create app in this Compiler?

*2024-06-16*

Dear Developer, your app is great. But I want to know - can I develop any apps in Swifty Compiler?

**Developer response:** Thank you for downloading Swifty Compiler!
Swifty Compiler is an Integrated Development Environment (IDE) designed specifically for running Swift code.
It is primarily intended for learning and practicing Swift programming, but it does not have the full capabilities needed for developing complete apps, websites, or other programs.
For full-scale development, you may want to consider using Xcode or other comprehensive development tools.

### 4/5 — App

*2024-05-31*

Optimistic language!

### 5/5 — Love the app interface

*2024-03-19, version 9.4.2*

Great app, would pay for it if I could see what font pack I'm getting or the ability to import my own fonts since I have favorites like hachi Maru pop , I would also pay extra if I were able to call basic modules like swiftUI since I'm a swift designer. , overall it has potential , for now I'll just do the free version

### 5/5 — Cómo se llama

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — 10 executes per day

*2026-06-02, version 9.19*

To anyone that is trying to learn, this app is definitely not for you, or anyone for that matter

### 1/5 — Too much for nothing want get refund

*2026-04-21, version 9.18*

Refund screenshot are not correct can used 5.8

### 1/5 — Couldn’t run code

*2026-02-08, version 9.18*

When i put my code in and clicked run, it just kept on loading without doing anything

### 1/5 — Greediness

*2021-09-25, version 6.0*

### 2/5 — It does work and it works well

*2023-10-26, version 9.3.3*

The problem I had was I could not call a function I had created. In XCode you can call the function before the created function, but on this app you have to call it after. This is not a problem but had me confused. I am thinking of buying the lifetime license. Keep up the good work.

### 2/5 — 5£ a month?

*2023-05-27, version 8.12*

Too greedy sorry.

### 2/5 — Great UI but not much functionality

*2021-06-13, version 4.6*

For anyone wanting to download this app just now that you must have an internet connection to use this application. No offline use. So in a sense it’s false advertisement. Also for the subscription based service it would not be worth it for what you’re getting. There are plenty of places to compile Swift code free without paying $45 a year via Replit, Swift Playgrounds, etc.

I will say this though the UI is beautiful and code completion is exceptional and that’s why I gave it an extra star.

### 3/5 — Zanyar

*2026-01-10, version 9.18*

Zanyar

### 3/5 — Not Being able to change Swift version to something a bit newer is a bit weird

*2025-08-16, version 9.16*

I would like to be able to change the Swift version to a newer version without needing to pay could be a good idea or just limited options instead of one maybe 2 or more maybe add a way to import a project online maybe cache when you click the x on “premium” so it doesn’t show up every time you open the app

### 3/5 — So far good

*2025-01-10, version 9.8*

I’ll will come back to update my review. I’m just disappointed in not being able to use Date, or Calendar as types.

### 5/5 — I Only Rated It 5 star so you would look at it!

*2025-10-22, version 9.16*

this is HORRIBLE! you can’t save your progect without paying, you can only test it 10 times, and it is tooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo confusing!!!! I hate it and will
NOT get it back EVER!

### 5/5 — Very good

*2025-07-23, version 9.16*

This thing is amazing and i like it for coding

### 5/5 — Pretty good dev app on the go

*2025-07-13, version 9.15.1*

TLDR: This app is for people who want to work on CLI related apps or to refine standard swift logic on the go who don’t need Apple native APIs.

This will be a honest review but if anyone sees this, no this app doesn’t have SwiftUI or any Apple native APIs. The developer can’t do anything about it since it’s Apples proprietary libraries and iOS apps are sandboxed so you can’t read files outside the app.

This app is also always online (at least to run code) since the developer has to work around it and it runs the swift code on a linux server. So if you are going to do networking then you have to import FoundationNetworking like on Linux.

Overall impressive app for the limitations work around. The best use cases for this is logic on the go granted I did have some issues related to JSON parsing. Specifically:

32:1: error: invalid character in source file
let jsonData = json.data(using: .utf8)!

I would say if you are planning on creating a CLI app or just want to refine logic on the go. Then this app is for you.
