## What is Swim Pursuit SA?

Swim Pursuit SA is the only app built around South African qualifying standards — SSA levels — not generic swim logging. Track every swimmer in your family on one account: log times, catch personal bests automatically, and get reminded before a qualifying cutoff passes.

WHAT YOU CAN DO
• Log swim times for any stroke and distance, short course or long course
• Automatic personal best (PB) detection — know the moment you swim a new PB, with a celebration on screen
• Compare your times against published South African qualifying standards, with a live percentage-off calculator
• Log sanctioned Open Water Championship swims and see exactly how you compare to the official qualifying standards
• Browse Ocean, River & Dam swims from organisers around South Africa — dates, distances and entry details in one place
• Set personal goals and get notified when your logged times achieve them
• Track progress over time with a clear history of every swim
• Manage multiple swimmers on one account — ideal for parents with more than one child swimming
• Add a profile photo for each swimmer
• Share access with a second parent or guardian, with full control over who can see and edit what

BUILT FOR FAMILIES
Swim Pursuit SA was built by a father-son team — one of us swims competitively, so this app solves a real, everyday problem: keeping track of times, standards and progress without a spreadsheet. Parents and guardians manage their swimmer's profile and can invite a second guardian to share access. Swimmers 13 and older can also have their own login.

PRIVACY, DONE PROPERLY
We collect only what the app needs to work: swimmer details, times, and results. No ads, no tracking, no selling your data — ever. Full details in our Privacy Policy, linked in the app and on our website.

Free to use until 1 March 2027
Swim Pursuit SA is currently free for all to test and send feedback. Let us know what works and what doesn't! We're always looking for ways to improve the experience for our users...and ourselves!

## Version history (last 3 releases)

### 1.0.20 — 2026-09-03

New app icon and refreshed launch screen. Fixed a bug that could block account creation for some users. Fixed a stretched-logo issue some users saw during loading. Improved the "Almost there" section so event names and standards no longer get cut off or squeezed. Clearer section headings on your Home dashboard's "Entry-ready this season" card.

### 1.0.17 — 2026-08-19

• Celebrate your swims — log a new personal best or level up and get a little celebration on screen, with a shareable card when you reach a new level.
• Never miss a qualifying cutoff — a reminder now appears on your Home screen as an important date approaches.
• Log your Open Water Championship swims and see exactly how you compare to the official standards.
• New Pool Side View redesign. Better viewing experience on pool deck.
• Auto Age-up built into the logic. Never spend time wondering if you still qualify for your level after your birthday.
