Put your iPhone on a tripod and swim — SwimLab starts the camera for
you, times every rep to the hundredth, and lets you replay it frame
by frame. Works for swimmers training on their own and for coaches
who can't watch every lane at once.

THE SET RUNNER
Run whole sets hands-free, like a coach with a stopwatch. Pick a set
(5×50 on 3:00), swim — SwimLab counts you in ("5-4-3-2-1"), films every
rep, runs your rest with voice calls, and fires the next start exactly
on the send-off. Every interval runs to its full time, including the
last one.

SESSION TEMPLATES
New sessions start from cards — Practice perfect starts, 25m sprint,
50m race sim, the lactate set — one tap from card to camera. Custom
setup is still there for building your own.

HANDS-FREE START — RAISE YOUR ARMS
Choose the gesture trigger and start swims from the water: raise both
arms, the torch blinks twice, lower them — the start runs itself. The
camera re-arms after every swim, so you can film shot after shot
without touching the phone.

A SMARTER LIBRARY
Search your swims, filter by stroke, distance, and effort, star your
favorites, and see real video thumbnails — including a scrub-to-choose
cover frame for every clip.

SHARPER SHARE VIDEOS
Feature the number that matters — race time, reaction, breakout, or a
turn split — and the clock freezes right at that moment. Trim the end,
choose real-time or slow motion for 120fps clips.

HONEST TIMING, EVEN TRUER
Set your phone-to-blocks distance and SwimLab subtracts the sound
travel time (distance ÷ 343 m/s), so training times compare cleanly
with meet timing.

Plus: Bluetooth speaker support with acoustically-verified gun timing
(the app finds the real start tone in your recording — millisecond-
honest on any speaker), save your own sets as templates, lens
selection (0.5×/1×/tele/front camera), swipe between reps in review,
tap-to-jump annotation chips, and dozens of refinements from poolside
testing.
