## What is SwimPaceTimer?

SwimPaceTimer is an Apple Watch interval timer for the pool. Three settings, that's it: distance, reps, and your send-off cycle.

MADE FOR SWIMMERS WHO
- are tired of watching the pace clock and counting in their head
- just want to hold a send-off without fiddling with settings mid-set

WHAT IT DOES
- Build a set: distance x reps x send-off cycle (e.g. 25yd x 5 @ 1:30)
- Tap start, get 5 seconds on the wall, then push off on the buzz
- A heads-up buzz 5 seconds out, then a start buzz - hold your cycle without looking at your wrist
- Countdown ring, rep dots, heart rate, split and total time at a glance
- Live heart rate on screen while you swim

WORKS ALONGSIDE THE WORKOUT APP
SwimPaceTimer is a send-off timer, not a tracker. It never takes over a workout you are already recording. Start a pool swim in the built-in Workout app if you want it saved to Health — that also turns on Water Lock for you — then let SwimPaceTimer handle the send-offs.

BUILT FOR THE WATER
Screens are hard to read and harder to tap when you're wet. Set everything on the wall before you push off, then swim - your wrist tells you when to go.

Yards or meters follows your region automatically.

## Version history (last 4 releases)

### 1.3.0 — 2026-08-14

• The lead-in is now adjustable from 5 to 60 seconds (20s by default) — five seconds was not enough to turn on Water Lock and get to the wall.
• The lead-in screen shows how to turn on Water Lock, and confirms when it is on.
• Buzzes at 10s, 5s, and 3-2-1 so you can follow the lead-in with the screen off.

### 1.2.0 — 2026-08-03

Rebuilt around one idea: fewer settings.

- Distance, reps, send-off cycle. That's the whole setup - CSS and EN training zones are gone.
- 5-second lead-in so you can set up on the wall instead of the clock starting under your finger
- Never takes over a workout you're already recording - keep the Workout app running for tracking
- Heart rate right on the set screen
- New countdown ring and rep dots you can read in a glance
- Yards or meters now follows your region
- Now in English as well as Korean
