### 5/5 — Great app

*2017-05-27, version 1.4*

It tells me what my percentages are and works great!! Get it.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Not good

*2023-01-02*

Terrible interface. Example data gets in the way and super unintuitive. Lost lots of recorded data. Good idea but certainly not recommended.

**Developer response:** All of your data lives on your Apple Watch, data syncing was designed for the original Apple Watch. It still works well, but it is a relic that needs to improve, the next version will move your data to iCloud, it’s coming. For now, to see your stats on iPhone, a simple tip is to make sure Swish on your Apple Watch and iPhone are both open and ready at the same time. Tap ••• on iPhone to Download Stats. If you still see example data, that means the data has not been sent from your Apple Watch. Your data is still on your Apple Watch, just need to get it to iPhone. Cheers!

### 2/5 — Very hard to use

*2017-11-09, version 1.5*

This app is frustratingly difficult to use. The interface is complicated and confusing, and the "instruction manual" doesn't help much. Worse yet, this app doesn't transfer your data to your iPhone or anywhere else, so you can't do any manual analysis on your stats. It's fine if you just want a simple shot percentage tracker, but for anything more than that it's not good at all.

### 3/5 — Please update for iOS 14 support

*2020-11-10, version 1.8.888*

I just got this app for 10 dollars the AR mode on iOS 14 doesn’t work. Don’t buy until it’s updated. Not worth $10 at the moment but could be if it was fixed.

Update: upon further testing it seems that it isn’t an issue with AR but rather an issue with saving the workout and them transferring to my phone properly. When I open the app on my phone (XS Max) and watch sometimes the workouts just simply don’t show up.

Update2: updated to 3 stars due to quick dev feedback. Looking forward to future updates.

### 4/5 — Good app, responsive developer

*2019-08-12, version 1.8*

Worth your money!

Bought this a week ago for free throw practice (Just started practicing shooting hoops at the gym for some variety). I’ve only used the basketball section, which is very well thought out / just right for my needs. Excited to use this when working on my tennis serve soon...

Developer is very responsive to feature requests. Looking forward to updates and future efforts.

(Also, huge kudos for not seeking subscription pricing.)

### 4/5 — Solid, but still AR troubles

*2019-02-27, version 1.7.4*

Manual mode works just as intended, I was just using it wrong. Still trying to get the AR to work, will send pics of issue.

### 4/5 — Works well except heart rate and health integration

*2018-05-06, version 1.6*

The app works ok except I cannot get the heart rate and health integration to work. I have Swish as a data source in the health app but it does not show any data. The heat rate reading is also hit or miss. It is possible that the phone needs to be connected at all times to the phone for the heart rate to work, but I am not sure. I have done 7 workouts and none of them were transferred to the health app. Hopefully things will get fixed in the next update.

Update: Dear Patrick, thanks for getting back to me. I checked and the heart rate and workout settings are enable in the health app privacy settings. I tried all sorts of different ways to get the app to transfer date to the health app but it does not work. I really like your app and I hope you can resolve these issues in future updates.

### 5/5 — Great App

*2024-07-24*

I heard about Swish Counter from a friend and just had to try it! It's been fantastic for my basketball practice. I especially love using the shot spots mode—it's really helped improve my shot, and I've noticed a definite difference since I started using it!

### 5/5 — Best app ever!!

*2019-01-14, version 1.7.4*

I use this app to improve my shooting skills for basketball and it really is quick and easy to use. The only thing is that in the phone you can't view any stats and that would be a great addition but other than that it is the best Money spent on an app!👏

Edit: I love the new stats and still love the app. The only suggestion I have is to have a goalie option. A lacrosse or soccer goalie would benefit from seeing where they need to work on their saves

### 5/5 — Great app but ...

*2018-12-08, version 1.7.2*

How do you view saved sessions? I can’t seem to figure that out.

### 5/5 — Great App

*2018-06-27, version 1.6*

Patric this is a great app for tracking my daughter's progress with her shooting. Also like the shot chart. A couple ideas. 1. Team mode to track a teams shooting percentage. 2. Stats on the iPhone. 3. Being able to print out or download shot chart to PDF. Overall I love the app. Keep working hard!! Thanks.

### 5/5 — Simple and nice on watch

*2018-05-04, version 1.6*

I enjoy shooting a basketball by myself in the gym. I use this app to keep track of made and missed shots. It’s simple and does exactly what I need it to. The large buttons make it easy to keep this information without interrupting my shooting. Despite a nice selection of other features, all I need is shots made, shots missed, and percentage and this nails it. (Just wish I could keep the display on all the time while using.)

### 5/5 — Great app

*2018-04-26, version 1.6*

I really like this app since it can record my shoot percentages. And I want the Stats on phones so bad because the stats on I-watch isn’t easy to see how my percentage are going. So keep on the good work.

### 5/5 — Widget for watch face

*2017-12-30, version 1.6*

I think it would be easier if a widget could be created to go on the face of the watch so you don’t have to open the watch find the app then do the work out just seems easier to immediately step on the court and get shots in

### 5/5 — Wow

*2017-12-29, version 1.6*

Really easy to use and works well on Apple Watch

### 5/5 — Love this app

*2017-12-04, version 1.6*

I was in such a need of this for my free throw shooting practice that I thought I would have to develop it myself, fortunately I found this on he AppStore! Can’t wait to have the Stats feature on my iPhone so I can see my stats over time. I would suggest a graph to view improvement over time.

### 5/5 — Love the update but.....

*2017-11-13, version 1.5*

Still Loving the app specially the bowling add on. Now I'd love to be able to manually pick which sports show on my watch being as though I only use basketball and bowling feature and I have a hard time getting to the bowling feature trying to swipe over to it. And stats being stored on phone would be great but 1 fix at a time ! Keep the great updates coming !
