With the flexibility, I’m able to make my own schedule and still spend time with my family! ### 3/5 — LVN *2026-07-14* Switch is ok. It’s cool to make extra money on. You have to wait for shifts to be approved . Most times pay isn’t instant you get paid the next day. Do not cancel a shift not even in emergency. My brother passed away i had to cancel a four hour shift and was still charged a restaffing fee. ### 4/5 — Flexibility, Opportunity, and Growth *2026-07-14* I’ve had a great experience working with Switch Healthcare. One thing I appreciate most is the flexibility. It gave me the opportunity to make my own schedule and work at different facilities until I found one that truly felt like the right fit. As a single mother, this platform has helped me provide for my household during times when I needed it most, and I’m genuinely grateful for that. The pay rates are competitive, and there are always opportunities to pick up shifts and earn extra income. While there have been a few hiccups with payroll from time to time, what stands out is how quickly the team responds and works to resolve any issues. Their communication and willingness to make things right have always been appreciated. Switch has also allowed me to grow professionally and gain experience in a variety of healthcare settings. Now that I’m continuing to level up in my nursing career, I’ll always be thankful for the role Switch played in helping me get there. If you’re looking for flexibility, good pay, and the freedom to find the facility that’s the best fit for you, I definitely recommend giving Switch a try. Could not recommend more for PRN nursing. ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Sketchy Administration *2026-06-30* The person/woman who answered my call when I called ( number online and also on google maps ) sounded a bit sketchy and very unprofessional. Made me wonder if our personal information is safe. She sounded like she didn’t know what she was doing too. Instantly paid out within a hour after clocking out the shift. The layout stuff on the update the shifts are not in order of the date anymore. And be careful I press a shift and once it got to the bid part it was a different date. To top it off, they charge you almost $10 each shift to use their platform as if they aren’t charging the facility for needing you which is why you’re on their platform!! Not anymore. Working shifts of 12 plus hours as a nurse and have never been paid within 30 min as their app states in their FAQ section. Hours is more like it or the next day or days later. As. 1099 employee this not acceptable. I used my body and energy to work for you platform and at the end expect my pay. Not for oh to be held hostage and you release when you feel like it (as customer service states they read off a script and can’t help you). Completely unprofessional as for making money off my back and hard work this company needs to show more respect and honor what they state and pay agency workers quickly. They like to suspend you for X amount of days or deduct points for being late but they somehow have the freedom to not only NOT pay you timely but don’t even tell you WHEN you’ll be paid. Grab the ShiftKey app and use it as I am literally paid before I leave the parking lot of the facility 99 percent of the time. ### 1/5 — Unprofessional *2026-03-30* It’s been pretty difficult with the on boarding process and the on boarding process representative Rachel did not make it any better. She was so rude.
