## What is Switch Recycling?

The Switch Recycling Mobile application is a waste collection application designed to drive
positive attitudinal change towards waste disposal. It allows users to sell their plastic waste and
receive instant payment through the integration of financial technology services. This is to
encourage an eco-friendlier environment while getting rewarded for properly disposing off waste
material.

New: Security Questions for Account Recovery

We've added an extra layer of protection to help you secure and recover your account.

What's New:

• Set up personal security questions directly from your account settings. Use security questions to verify your identity during password resets or suspicious login attempts
• Answers are encrypted and never stored in plain text
Why This Matters:

As we continue to handle more financial transactions on the platform, this update strengthens account recovery options and adds a safeguard against unauthorized access especially useful if you lose access to your registered email or phone number.

How to Set It Up:

• Go to Settings → Security
• Tap Set Up Security Questions
• Choose from the provided question list (or create your own, if enabled)
• Save your answers
 

Notes:

Existing users will be prompted to set up security questions.

We recommend choosing answers only you would know, and avoiding answers that are publicly guessable
