SWLog is a mobile companion application to the full SWLog suite or logging and radio control applications. SWLog allows amateur radio and broadcast (shortwave, AM/FM, and utility) transmissions to be logged locally and later uploaded to the main logging program. QRZ can be used for lookups for amateur radio logs. For broadcast logs, various program schedules from ADDX, AOKI, EIBI, FCC, HFCC, ILGRadio, and SWSkeds are queried to aid in identifying the station. The app requires a precise GPS location just to function, and on my Mac it would hang at “Getting GPS Location.” I also could not find the desktop/API settings needed to make synchronization work. On iPhone the app makes sense as a companion tool, but on macOS this feels confusing and not ready for real desktop use. ### 1/5 — Love the UI but unusable app *2024-09-24, version 10.1* Lot of bugs. Several "features" do not work, just return cryptic error message. There is no documention on this program. And any videos are using a screen that is conneted to a pc. Bob has worked hard to get this to stream seamlessly and import into the shortwave log suite .
