## What is SwoleX?

SwoleX is the workout app built for lifters who actually show up.

Log your training, share it to your feed, and watch others hit your exact routine — with weights automatically scaled to their own history. That's the SwoleX loop: post a workout, someone taps DO WORKOUT, and they're training your program in seconds.

TRACK EVERY LIFT
Log sets, reps, and weight with a clean, fast interface built for use between sets — not after the gym. Your history builds automatically into a personal performance record with streaks, PRs, and volume charts.

EAT LIKE YOU TRAIN
Log food in seconds — search the food library or pull from your saved My Foods. Pick a diet style — Balanced, High Protein, Keto, Low Carb, Mediterranean, Endurance, or Zone — add your goal and activity level, and SwoleX sets your daily calorie and macro targets for you. Pro adds barcode scanning and describe-a-meal AI that breaks down the macros for you.

MEAL PLANS BUILT AROUND YOUR MACROS
Tell Kevin your diet style and the foods you actually eat, choose which meals to plan — even just dinner — and get a multi-day plan with a grocery list in real shopping quantities: a dozen eggs, a pint of berries, 3.5 lb of chicken. Adjust any portion, then log a single item, a whole meal, or the whole day. Export any plan as a clean PDF to print or share.

MEET KEVIN — YOUR AI STRENGTH COACH
Tap AI WORKOUT and Kevin assembles a session tailored to your training history, goals, and how you're feeling that day. Every set is pre-scaled to your actual strength — no guessing, no math.

DO WORKOUTS FROM THE FEED
Every post in SwoleX is executable. See a chest day you like? Tap DO WORKOUT and run it yourself — weights automatically adjust to your level. Your results link back to the original, giving the creator credit and building their following.

LIFT TOGETHER, LIVE
Training with someone? Start a live session and invite them. You each run the same workout with weights scaled to your own strength, so you're on the same exercise without lifting the same numbers. Watch each other's sets land as they happen, nudge a partner who's been resting a while, and finish on a shared recap with one group card crediting everyone who lifted.

PROGRAMS & PREMIUM CONTENT
Browse structured programs from coaches and top creators. Follow a 5-day split, an 8-week strength block, or a conditioning circuit — and execute every session directly from the app.

SHARE YOUR WINS
Auto-generated share cards let you blast your completed workouts to Instagram Stories, TikTok, and Snapchat. Every post drives new users back into the app.

## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 1.5.6 — 2026-09-03

SwoleX 1.5.6 — Your bodyweight counts, and search finds what you meant.

• The volume trend counts your bodyweight. Dips, pull-ups and push-ups moved real weight — yours — but the weekly chart drew only what you loaded on a bar, so a hard calisthenics week looked like a light one. Bodyweight now sits stacked on each bar in its own shade, with the loaded number unchanged beneath it. Your back catalogue counts too: past sessions were recalculated, so the trend reflects training you already did rather than starting from a blank slate. Weeks with no bodyweight recorded simply have no bodyweight portion — not a zero, because "we don't know" and "you did none" are different things.

• Search stops burying what you asked for. Typing "incline press" used to return Bench Press, Board Press, Hex Press, JM Press and half the leg machines before the incline presses themselves — because the bench those lifts need is called an "adjustable incline/decline bench", and the word leaked into everything that touches one. Your words now have to match the exercise, not its furniture.

• Two versions of the same lift, in the same plan. Barbell incline press AND the plate-loaded one, together. The equipment chips used to behave like a dial where picking one replaced the other, so the only way to get both was to add the second mid-workout. They're checkboxes now, and the row shows a count so a second pick is never a surprise.

• Meal plans have a real Export button. It was a small share icon at the top of a long page, which told you nothing about what it did. There's now a labelled EXPORT PDF at the bottom, where you've just finished reading the grocery list — and exported files arrive with their actual name instead of a string of hex.

• Lifting with a friend follows YOUR screen. Their tab used to show whichever exercise they happened to be standing on, so you couldn't look back at how they did on the bench once they'd moved on. It now follows the exercise you're looking at, and where they actually are becomes a tap that takes you there.

• When something breaks, we hear about it. A request that never came back used to fail quietly — no error, nothing recorded. Those now reach us, and the message tells you which kind of failure it was.

Train hard. Prove it.

### 1.5.4 — 2026-08-25

SwoleX 1.5.4 — Kevin stopped marking you down for training well.

What's new in 1.5.4:

• Your report card understands pyramids. Ramping up to a heavy triple and then stripping weight for a set of twenty is how a lot of people train, and Kevin used to read it as failure to hit a target — two numbers outside a band, graded down, no mention of the fact that you'd just worked up to your heaviest set of the month. He now looks at the shape of the whole exercise: the top set is judged as strength work, the back-off sets as the volume they are, and a session that deliberately spans both is described that way instead of penalised for it.

• He tells you what you're doing right. Every report now opens with your training style in his words and a short list of what's working, before anything that needs attention. The same evidence was always in the data; none of it ever made it onto the page.

• REP INTENT replaces SCHEME COMPLIANCE. A percentage against a template couldn't survive its own footnotes, and the only way to raise it was to train differently for no good reason. In its place: which rep ranges your working sets actually land in, and what share sits in each.

• AMRAPs and drop sets no longer count against you. A set taken to failure at twenty-five reps was dragging your averages outside every expected range — as though going past the number written down were a mistake.

• Cardio appears in your report. Every treadmill and rower set you have ever logged was invisible to it, and time on a bike was being counted as leg training, so an athlete who had not trained legs in a month could look covered.

• Plan a week alongside a program. Running a program no longer hides the weekly builder — Kevin sees which muscles your program already covers and steers the week around them, so two days of glutes and three days of his work as complements rather than a collision.

• Manual workouts get real names. Log a session yourself and it's named the way Kevin names his, instead of "Chest Day" or "Session".

• Someone to follow on day one. A brand new account opens on an empty feed with nothing to do about it. There's now one suggestion there, with a Follow button, and nothing is followed on your behalf.

What's fixed:

• Preference changes actually save. Your modalities, equipment style and training style saved the first time you set them and silently did nothing every time after — the screen returned success and reverted the next time you opened it.

• A hand-logged cardio workout is no longer zero minutes long, and a session that was only cardio is no longer called "Session".

• Gym equipment votes had the same fault as preferences and were dropped the same way.

Train hard. Prove it.

### 1.5.3 — 2026-08-22

SwoleX 1.5.3 — Your bodyweight finally counts.

What's new in 1.5.3:

• Dips, pull-ups and push-ups now add to your volume. A set of nineteen dips used to be worth zero tonnage — the hardest set of your session, missing from every total, with nothing to tell you a number was absent. Your own weight is now counted at a share that matches the movement, so a bar dip and a bench dip aren't valued the same. Shown as its own figure alongside your loaded volume, never mixed into it.

• Weighted dips and pull-ups get a real target. Kevin used to skip these entirely and leave the weight blank. Now he works out what to hang off the belt from the sets you've actually logged — and when your bodyweight alone is the right load for that rep count, he says so instead of inventing a number.

• The weight field on a bodyweight exercise now says ADDED. It means the plate on the belt, not the total, and it reads +45 × 10 so it can't be mistaken for a barbell weight. If it can't take load at all, the field stays out of your way.

• Weekly weigh-in reminder, if you want it. Volume and load targets on bodyweight movements both need a current weight, and without one they quietly can't be worked out. Turn the reminder on under Progress → Body and it's one tap to confirm you're the same as last time.

• Supersets in the exercise picker. A library of pre-checked pairs — both movements at the same station, so you're not walking across the gym mid-round — labelled by what kind of pairing each one is, with the rounds already laid out when you add it.

• Report a problem without leaving the app. Profile → Settings has it, your past reports are there too, and you'll see a reply when there is one. If something errors, the message itself now offers to file the report with the details already filled in.

What's fixed:

• A saved workout containing an exercise that had since been removed no longer fails to open.

• Head-to-head comparisons now use the same recent-lifts window the leaderboard does, so the two can't disagree about who's ahead.

• Bodyweight typed into the weight field no longer inflates your tonnage. A crunch recorded at your own bodyweight was adding thousands of pounds that never happened.

Train hard. Prove it.

### 1.5.2 — 2026-08-18

SwoleX 1.5.2 — Sharper rankings, and a lot of small things put right.

What's new in 1.5.2:

• Rankings now measure current form. Only lifts from the last year count, so a personal record from years ago can't hold a place against someone training today — and if you imported years of history from another app, it no longer crowds out the lifts you're actually doing. Log an old favourite again and it's straight back on the board.

• More of your training partner's session is visible. Their drop sets now show as the chains they really are instead of a run of unrelated sets, and their tab carries the same per-exercise volume your own does.

• Rename a group session before you share it. The live share card now has an editable title, like the single-workout card always has. Changing it affects your card only — it doesn't retitle the session for everyone else who lifted.

What's fixed:

• Opening an ended live session from your history no longer signs you out. Tapping the LIVE badge on a finished workout in Progress could drop you back to the login screen.

• Typing a weight replaces it. Tapping into a weight or rep field selects what's there, so typing overwrites instead of adding to the end — 255 then 3 no longer gives you 2553.

• Recovering a workout from the bin no longer counts the time it spent there. Restore yesterday's session and the timer picks up where you left it rather than reporting a twenty-hour workout — which was also quietly saving that number to your history.

• Every diet-style and activity option in the nutrition targets sheet is reachable. Several of them sat off the edge of the screen, so they couldn't be selected at all.

• Names on the group share card read consistently instead of mixing first names with usernames.

Train hard. Prove it — together.

### 1.5.1 — 2026-08-17

SwoleX 1.5.1 — Everyone lifts their own numbers.

What's new in 1.5.1:

• Weights now scale to you in Live Workouts. This is the big one. Join a friend's session and every target weight is worked out from your own logged strength, not theirs — so a training partner no longer sees numbers meant for someone twice as strong. The scaling is deliberately conservative: it's bounded on both sides, and where it has nothing to go on it keeps your partner's weight rather than inventing one.

• Nudge. Watching a friend's tab and they've clearly stalled between sets? One tap sends a friendly "you're up." No typing, no chat — just a buzz on their phone. Limited so nobody can be pestered, and only people in the session with you can send one.

• Share a live session to the feed. One post for the whole workout, with everyone who lifted credited on it. If somebody else shares the same session they join that post rather than filling the feed with duplicates of one workout.

• Shared workouts scale too — and receiving one is now free. When a friend sends you a workout, the weights are worked out for you. You no longer need Pro to accept one.

• Repeat any workout from the feed with weights scaled to you, on every plan. Personalized weights used to be Pro-only here; they're free now.

What's fixed:

• Set checkmarks no longer stop responding mid-workout. Starting a rest timer nudged the set list down under your finger, so taps landed on the wrong row until you added a set or changed exercise.

• A forgotten timer no longer reports an eight-hour workout. When a duration doesn't match the work logged against it, you'll see a dash instead of a number we can't stand behind. Genuine long sessions are untouched.

• A live invite now shows up in the app while you're using it, and tapping it takes you straight into the session.

• Assorted polish and stability fixes.

Train hard. Prove it — together.
