Game would be 10/10 in my opinion if it wasn’t for ads ### 3/5 — Decent game, too many ads *2022-12-11, version 1.3.2* Fun game with a good variety of things to do despite the simple concept, but man, everything involves watching an ad. I could sort of forgive watching ads for rewards (even though most of the rewards aren't that good) but there are even ads after completing stages and daily stages are limited by a time gate that, you guessed it, requires you to watch an ad to skip. Basically this means dailies take literally hours unless you want to watch like 10 ads. Still giving it 3 stars since the concept is solid but I've got way better stuff to do than watch like 10 minutes+ of ads to do my daily playing. ### 3/5 — It's fun. REALLY fun. Please leave me alone *2022-07-27, version 1.2.7* The game is super fun and very in depth The animations are great and it pulls off exactly what it wants to be almost flawlessly. Super in depth with character customization, upgrades, and classical arcade beat em up through and through. The enemies are fun to beat, and the controls are SUPER intuitive. Very clever job in order to keep the game one touch. That being said, there are WAY too many things that stop your progress that are supposed to be rewards. The cat interrupts you sometimes 3 separate time just the that you can get the next wave of enemies. Not only this, but I do not want the upgrades it is offering me. It makes the game too easy. It breaks the flow of gameplay and makes the game super unfun to continue ### 4/5 — I like the good hack and//beat them up however the skins are expensive *2022-06-06, version 1.2.4* I mean two skins are $20 each and one is $10 a bit too much for a Mobile game however everything else is fine I like the beat them up style with the hack and slash mechanic ### 3/5 — Cool game, but… *2022-05-30, version 1.2.3* This game is very visually pleasing and fun to play, but there are some things that will turn you off or do not make sense. One, ads are non stop lol and not all that rewarding when you watch them to auto raid. Also the required power level to advance in my opinion becomes just a null number once you reach chapter 11. My current level is almost double what’s required, but they do so much damage to you that you feel like the power level is a facade. Still can’t complete chapter 11, only up to 19/20. You think you beat the boss TWICE only for another one to appear, unlike any previous level. Kind of getting burnt out on it now. ### 3/5 — Game was great but… *2022-03-07, version 1.1.6* I instantly got hooked to this game and grinded it out everyday, but recently i just logged in and all my equipment was missing. This makes it hard to get back into the game since i was already pretty deep into the story and getting equipment that will actually help is gonna take a long time. Overall though, aside from the bugs this game is amazing def should play. ### 4/5 — Awesome game! Still pretty buggy *2022-03-06, version 1.1.6* It restarts my game constantly because I “go offline” which I don’t, and sometimes it’ll start me in the middle of a game with a totally different weapon and I have to restart the whole thing over. But other than that good stuff ### 4/5 — Great Game, well made, needs some polish *2022-02-21, version 1.0.5* I can’t lie, I play this game at least for an hour or two every day and I’m hooked on it. The loot system and item shop has a nice balance to it the mechanics of the game itself are pretty decent. The issues I’m seeing everyone having, including myself, are the stats…or lack there of? It’s like the stats are there but it’s such a vague and non-detailed description it leaves the player with more questions than answers. It’s so shallow that there’s not even an online guide to the stats of this game. If that changes made it would be potentially a whole new game in a far better experience! ### 5/5 — This Game is Actually Good for a Slasher *2022-02-02, version 1.0.5* Playing this is very entertaining and I thought it would have been unplayable because of the AD trend (ads loading every 5 seconds within a game), but that isn’t the case. The ads are set up to reward you and it actually makes you want to watch it because the rewards help you GREATLY during game play. I really hope they continue with this game because the story line is actually really fun. Gives me early PS2 slasher game vibes, ex.) Devil May Cry, TNMT, etc. ### 4/5 — Crashes *2022-01-21, version 1.0.5* I would give this game a 5 star, only one problem. Sometimes when you watch the video adds the game crashes and you have to start the level all over again. It gets really frustrating and annoying especially when you have to start the stage that took you forever to beat all because YOU GUY asks us if we want to watch a free ad for power ups and it crashes. Please fix this and continue the awesome work! ### 5/5 — MasterPiece *2022-01-15, version 1.0.5* Maybe giving this game a five star review, is a little bit overrated. But in my personal opinion I believe it’s a really good game to play. It has a really good Japanese type of sword play style, and also a anime feel to it, with the special combos and the ultra attacks. I believe this game deserve a great review, from someone who barely do this type of stuff. May the developers learn and fix their mistakes and make this game a true masterpiece. Even if you could sit through all the pay to win nonsense constantly being thrown in your face and even if you spent $100 and got to power level 80k you still couldn’t beat stage 15 which has a “RECOMMENDED” power level of 27,400. And to the Pathetic developer who made this garbage and continues to add pathetic $20 ptw costumes: Get a life, find anything to do with it other than waste good peoples’ times. You lowlife! ### 1/5 — So many ads the game is almost unplayable *2022-12-30, version 1.3.3* All I wanted was to play this game on my flight but the developer is so greedy they make the game unplayable if you don’t have an internet connection despite it being a lightweight game that has literally zero online features. Curious now too how long until their other games become like this. Lesson learned, get stuck? Don’t spend money. Bye! ### 1/5 — Too difficult to play *2022-08-27, version 1.3.0* It’s absurd how difficult some of these levels are. No matter how strong you think you are these levels are just too ridiculous to beat. I’m over 50,000 but struggling with 14,000 levels. Just horrible gameplay, don’t waste your time. ### 1/5 — It was a great mobile game until it just isn’t. *2022-03-04, version 1.1.2* As the title suggests it’s previous version/ update was way better than its current version now. Now that ads are very less rewarding than you normally earn with them, so the currency exchange between in app purchases for things like gems to money and energy is honestly a waste of time. Not to mention 0.99s and up. Call me stingy but if they still kept the idea of still earning your gems and loot with the video ads I would have retracted my statement and have given this a 5 star before... Otherwise this game flopped over its success and is now hungry for your wallet. Permanently staying F2P since a P2W lifestyle is by hindsight the most dissatisfying way to ever have a long lasting fun with this game. Never fall down this rabbit hole folks. ### 1/5 — Kinda scammy in my opinion *2021-12-31, version 1.0.5* Asks for a review on the App Store after every level and deceptively has the yes no colors changed so yes is red and looks like no you are not enjoying the game which is what most people push as they don’t wanna rate the app. Then if you notice this and press no which is green it forces you to copy to your clipboard their email or click on the email and tell them why ur not enjoying the game and ads are essential for this game like half the game will be spent watching ads without a way to disable them even if you pay. Not playing this ### 1/5 — Pay Wall + Glitches *2021-12-29, version 1.0.5* Gameplay is fun and mind numbing for a good amount of time, until you reach a certain chapter (can’t remember I uninstalled after a Gem->Money glitch). The ‘recommended power’ to advance is double the previous mission after moderate increases and that reflects in the gameplay, essentially turning the game into an idle game to check on once every few hours. If you wanna spend your gems by converting them into gold, beware! Don’t spam the button or else it’ll eat your (sometimes 300) gems instantly and not give you any gold. Ads are rampant and required to get decent items to progress, but they don’t help all that much when you hit the pay wall. ### 2/5 — Ads *2021-10-05, version 1.0.1* Like everyone else is saying the ads don't work. it seems odd that they would rather have no ads because ad money is a big thing, especially when theres no in-app purchases. ### 3/5 — Disappointed *2024-05-30* This is a amazing game with amazing potential. I have been playing this game for years. In order to progress you will have to play levels over and watch ads. Watching ads is time consuming but rewarding at times. With that being said I’m very disappointed that the game is being removed and my progress will be wiped. I’ve been playing for years and still haven’t completed the highest eatery of my sword. I’ve watched hundreds of boring ads and that is time I will never get back. It could at least be able to keep my progress. ### 3/5 — Beware, there are ads *2023-07-14* If you are looking for a Portrait mobile game to waste some time with and you’re not really too concerned about there being occasional advert this game genuinely is a good time. However, if you are looking for a game that you can sync a little bit of time into while you’re waiting at the DMV or you’re in line for a big movie or something like that the odds can start to get pretty annoying by myself and the type of person that likes to get really into their mobile games the ads themselves make this title a no go for me **Developer response:** Thanks for the feedback! I love it. I want to mention, we do need new levels of difficulty though, t gold dungeon where you smash down statues, you can not go above level 10 and I am finishing level 10 with 15-20 seconds to spare at this point. The game needs new quests and new difficulty for the existing ones, I appreciate the whole team a whole bunch! I hope you take a look at what I mentioned as well!! I never really was into RPG games but this one got me with its excellent blend of arcade-style controls and battles.
