Sword of the Spirit is a Bible app unlike any other that turns reading the Bible into a game where you level up stats such as Joy and Peace, equip yourself with powerful armor, and encounter various enemies! Defeat Lust, Addiction, Anger, Envy, and more as you progress through your spiritual journey! You can also use Sword of the Spirit as a normal Bible app and have free reign over your reading with highlight and note taking tools at your disposal. The Campaign screen presents a reading plan as levels. Every few levels you'll face an encounter where your warrior's power will face off against the enemy's power. You'll have the chance to answer a question about what you've been reading recently to gain a massive damage boost! The Quests screen is where you can view and claim quests as you progress through the game! The explore screen allows you to explore various rooms for xp and gear rewards. You might also be able to find items needed to complete quests here! The armor screen is where you'll equip and manage your gear to power up your warrior as much as possible! There's also a forge for breaking down unwanted gear into scrap. Once you collect enough scrap you can reforge it into a shiny new piece of gear! The skills screen lets you view how many levels you have in various skills, as well as how much power you have from each skill! The Bible screen lets you use a more traditionally presented Bible. You can pick whatever you want to read as well as select from available fonts and translations. There's also highlight and note taking options! The Journal lets you review all your previously highlighted and annotated verses. You can filter by book or chapter to narrow down your results! It’s really nice and it’s my main use of the app. I also love all the little studies it has and it can be eye opening.
