I’ve all in all paid 100 pounds to them for subscriptions I never knew I had! Customer support is terrible- ### 2/5 — oh gosh *2020-10-27, version 1.1.19* there is so much promise and that I like about being able to separate out work calls and txts with Swytch, but the app just is just getting slower (to load or respond) and flakier on my phone (iphone SE 128GB, latest iOS) and may sadly have to move to a 2-sim solution. ### 2/5 — Great company but no customer support reply *2020-07-07, version 1.1.17* Been using Swytch for a good 12 months now for my business but have had a few billing issues and some security concerns and I’ve emailed and used customer service for Swytch several time but have had no reply. I’ve recommended Swytch to many of my clients too and again no customer service reply. Very close to having to cancel and use another provider. Disappointing and easily avoided by just replying to your customers ### 1/5 — Porquería de app *2020-03-19, version 1.1.17* No sirve para nada solo te roban tu número ### 3/5 — Temprimental & Clunky *2019-12-11, version 1.1.17* Great bunch of people really happy and friendly supporting this but it’s not super reliable. Messages come through then disappear meaning you have to delete and reinstall the app. Don’t always get notifications, miss almost every call as doesn’t show incoming calls every time ### 3/5 — Okay app *2019-03-31, version 1.1.15* Missing functionalities from the desktop site, and also push notifications, meaning not seeing texts when they’re sent. ### 1/5 — Fine initially now useless *2019-02-13, version 1.1.12* Can’t add credit or change billing details so I’m left unable to contact people. I got it for personal use as an extra line. There are issues with the text messaging tho. You get notification but cannot see anything. Sometimes it works. Sometimes it doesn’t. And it’s even more difficult when you are trying to stop the subscription or delete your account. I have credit left to use and most of the time the other party can't hear me or the call does not connect properly and I end up losing credit. How these apps get on here no idea. ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Junk, don’t use *2025-02-28, version 3.6.7* Tried to use this to set up a WhatsApp business account and it was a total nightmare. It would only connect intermittently, my account was locked for no reason, connection would drop out randomly etc. Customer service tried to help but slow and not worth the grief. Use a landline number instead, much easier. ### 1/5 — Works fine, but impossible to cancel your contract *2024-06-24, version 3.6.4* There is nobody to contact for cancellations. They put you on a plan which you cannot get away from. I have had to contact my bank and put them on the transaction block list. Also, the app works fine but not great. I often won’t get notifications for new messages and calls are clumsy. I don’t recommend. ### 1/5 — New update has bricked the app *2023-11-11, version 3.5.0* Very frustrating - new update has made the app very quirky and unreliable. Can’t even search for app on iphone any more. Staff were kind BUT received instructions that will take an hour or two to do to try making it work again. Really wish software testing before release would happen - rather than making the public do the software testing for free. ### 1/5 — Unreliable *2023-10-03, version 3.4.9* This app is useless, most calls either they can’t hear you or you can’t here them, I thought the upgrade would resolve this but actually it’s even worse I can’t even make calls or send a message now. Seems like an actual scam ### 1/5 — Tried it but unreliable *2022-02-05, version 1.1.21* After a month of trying to cope and a £15 loss I am giving up on this one. Typical problems; can’t actually get the app to open and connect the call before the caller hangs up. No indication of missed calls. Callers unable to leave voice message. Not all of these issues happen all of the time but each one happens often enough as to make the app unusable. I wouldn’t even keep this if it was free and certainly not as a subscription ### 1/5 — Reinstall everytime is used *2022-01-09, version 1.1.21* It’s a great idea and what I need. However everytime I use it for online banking confirmation I have to delete the App and reinstall it. Not great obviously. The messages from the bank don’t appear unless it’s a fresh install. Pretty basic error to fix but still no fix. ### 1/5 — The worst app *2021-10-17, version 1.1.21* This is just the worst app you could use, useless phone number, you can’t call or text, the worst customer service, they don’t even reply. ## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated) ### 5/5 — Been solid for over 6 years *2024-06-24, version 3.6.4* I have been using this app for just over 6 years and it has always worked, done exactly what it describes. I ported my UK number to Swytch when I moved to the USA, and can still use it, everything has worked as expected. I dont write many reviews but this deserves the 5 stars as I’ve had zero issues, and customer support was perfect when I had to update my info. ### 5/5 — Excellent *2024-06-24, version 3.6.4* Works perfectly; and I’ve been using this for almost two years now. Excellent support in the few instances I’ve had issues when changing login credentials. This has been a lifesaver in keeping a UK number for apps and services that require this for continued access while I can enjoy my expat life stress free. ### 5/5 — I’ve used it for well over 18 months and it’s good *2022-09-22, version 1.1.21* Tried a number of other companies before starting with Swytch. It works really well almost all of the time. I was happy with the service and the customer service is very responsive and helpful. Would recommend. ### 5/5 — The last business app for communication *2017-06-30, version 1.0.15* This is a great utility to communicate with your employees while managing the cost control and their numbers that they can use to communicate with the outside world. The pricing is reasonable and the support is top-notch. Highly recommended! ### 5/5 — Super solution and easy to use *2016-10-10, version 1.0.8* I spend a lot of time out of the U.K. and like the stability of keeping the same uk number 'superimposed' on any individual sim number I actually have at the time. Super convenient for people to be able to be in touch without me being discourteous in imposing roaming charges on them, and leaves me free to chose the best deals for wherever I am. You can also have multiple numbers if you want to triage.
