Swyx Mobile for iOS

"Swyx Mobile for iOS" is the mobile application for your Swyx solution. The app follows an intuitive interaction concept and is fully integrated into the iOS operating system. It brings the Unified Communications (UC) functions of the Swyx Server to your smartphone and increases your flexibility.

REQUIREMENTS

- Apple iPhone/iPad with iOS 10 (or higher)
- Server SwyxWare version higher than 11.0 and lower than 12.10 with push notification service correctly installed and running
- Apple requires the use of TLS 1.2 for apps uploaded to the App Store. TLS 1.2 is enabled by default on Windows Server 2012, only. If your SwyxWare is running on a Windows system prior to Windows Server 2012 (e.g. Windows Server 2008 R2) you need to manually enable the use of TLS 1.2 on your server (https://www.swyx.com/support/ssdb.html?kbid=kb4894)

KNOWN RESTRICTIONS

- Don't use on SwyxWare 12.10 (or higher). For these please use the improved and newer app 'Swyx Mobile' from App Store.
- No proper error notification when a new password doesn't meet the complexity requirements defined by the server
- Own user state is wrong if "SIP device" is not selected as "Login Device" for the user (needs to be set up by your admin)
- This Swyx app cannot be used with a Swyxware Advance / DeutschlandLAN Swyx server
- The use of h/w buttons of Jabra Stealth devices is not supported by Jabra, yet
- Non-login-relevant user settings are not transferred with easy transit mechanism from the app “Swyx Mobile 2015” (version 1.7.x) to “Swyx Mobile 2019” (version 2.x)

funktioniert über Mobile Daten hervorragend und ist eine tolle Ergänzung zur Telefonanlage. Leider habe ich immer wieder Abbrüche über die WLAN Verbindung. Alle anderen Apps funktionieren, daher gehe ich von einem kleinen Bug in der App aus.
Ist für mich aber nicht weiter Dramatisch, da im WLAN genauso der PC-Client genutzt werden kann.

I mostly love this but have had occasional issues of terrible call quality when using my phone for work calls. It hasn’t been a consistent enough issue to blame either wifi or the 4G network so I suspect it’s when both are weak. Otherwise, All good. It has worked without issue on an iPad on wifi for example.

Hat die alten App Versionen in Zusammenarbeit mit dem Server noch zu Problemen geführt, funktioniert die neuste Version mit der aktuellesten Serverversion recht ordentlich. 
In Sachen Funktion kann man sich streiten wie viel es sein muss allerdings würde ich eine Rufübernahme bei einem aktiven Ruf zwischen Tischtelefon/Softclient und App sehr gut finden. Man hat doch sehr oft die Situation ein Anruf „mitnehmen“ zu müssen. 

In Sachen MDM und Vorkonfiguration können wir noch nichts sagen, sind aktuell dabei.

Since the update to iOS 14 the line is very instable and calls interrupt after few seconds. Connection to server is ok. Before the update it works fine. Is the problem known? Any solution on the way?

Leider fehlt mir die Unterstützung des Dark Mode, z.B. bei dem Widget. Kann man das noch anpassen? Dann gibts 5 Sterne :)

### 3/5 — Eigentlich perfekt, aber....!

Die App funktioniert wirklich sehr gut. Wir haben nur das Problem, dass diese den Ruf nicht signalisiert sobald man sich im internen Netz befindet. Dies unabhängig davon ob die App im Vorder- oder Hintergrund läuft. Ausgehende Anrufe funktionieren aber und auch die Statussignalisation wird korrekt angezeigt. Sobald man sich in einem externen Netz oder 4G befindet, funktioniert alles fehlerfrei. Schade, das bis jetzt niemand dieses Problem lösen konnte. Sonst gäb es mehr Punkte.

Ich bin erst vor kurzem zu Swyx gewechselt und muss sagen ich bin begeistert. Gehört jetzt nicht unbedingt hier her, möchte es aber dennoch los werden: die API ist spitze, man kann das ganze AD auf die Swyx synchronisieren! Die App tut was sie tuen soll, ist übersichtlich im Design. Rundum ein sehr gutes Paket. Was mir in der App fehlt ist eine schedule Funktion, also wo ich einstellen kann wann sich die App am Server anmelden und vor allem wieder abmelden soll:-) man möchte ja nach Feierabend nicht noch grün angezeigt werde. 
Ein großes Lob an die Entwickler, weiter so!

Da ich gerade wie wahrscheinlich viele derzeit im Home Office bin ist die App ideal.
Anrufe können angenommen werden auch wenn die App nur im Hintergrund aktiv ist.
Weiterstellen zu Kollegen ist auch gar kein Problem.
Durch das anlegen von Favoriten geht dies auch um einiges schneller.

Die App auf dem iPhone läuft einwandfrei. Auf meiner Apple Watch werden mir zwar die eingehenden Calls angezeigt, jedoch annehmen kann ich diese nur am iPhone. Die Funktion einen Call an der Uhr direkt annehmen zu können wäre der 5. Stern gewesen. So reicht es leider nur für 4! Viele Grüße, Sven

With server versions older than 12.0 there was a problem where incoming calls were only signaled if the app was in the foreground. Thanks to your quick feedback and our equally quick developer we were able to get rid of this bug with perfect teamwork despite the not ideal circumstances.
