It should update on its own without asking, especially if it hides the schedule. ### 2/5 — Map? *2013-02-20* I appreciate having this app and like the planner function. However, a significant drawback is the map functionality. If I click on a particular room in a venue, I would think that the map would switch to a building-specific map (floor plan) rather than a street level map simply telling me where I am in Austin. I still appreciate those who developed this app but just wanted to point out the one quibble. ### 2/5 — Twist my head *2013-02-14* Does not work on the ipad unless you flip it upside down. Looks like the programmers locked the orientation. Very hard to flip my ipad around to view the content since I have a keyboard/case combo. Version 2 coming soon? Works ok on iphone but also locked...in portrait mode. Every time I use the app, there is a glitch. ### 1/5 — Way too many ads, main features don't work *2017-03-08* The ads are annoying and cumbersome, and have caused me to dislike the advertiser. None of the networking or social features work. It's good for finding sessions, but otherwise it's obnoxious. ### 1/5 — Poop Cake *2017-03-07, version 6.1* I don't know that I have ever use a particularly good conference app, but this one really takes the cake. And by cake I mean steaming pile of poop. Poop cake. Specifically, I really hate the constant syncing that doesn't actually add information, but keeps resetting my view to the top of the hundreds of items in a single column. The constant ads from McGraw Hill, including the same exact ad, every single time it attempts to sync, or I blink, or a butterfly floats by. ### 1/5 — Lost all my data *2013-03-05, version 2* Aargh just ran the update and schedule favorites etc. are all lost. Inconvenient to have to turn ipad upside down to be able to read. ### 2/5 — Directory basics *2024-03-04* The directory allows you the star/favorite attendees but then offers no way to review who you’ve started. In addition, the app layout seemed to change daily so I couldn’t retrace my schedule or follow up easily. There seemed to be large gaps in scheduling and then all of the interesting workshops had overlap. ### 2/5 — Annoying ads and usability *2017-03-08* This app forces you back to a McGraw Hill ad every time you toggle back-n-forth between apps. I also can't even find a way to set up my email so that I can export the notes! ### 2/5 — Shows ads every time on load *2017-03-07* Good: you can save events and see them in one place, it's relatively smart about scrolling to where you are in the day. "What's happening now" is useful. Bad: every single time I load the app to check what room I'm going to, it shows me an ad. Cool it, please. ### 2/5 — Schedule Glitch *2017-02-19* I spent hours choosing sessions to attend and marking them on the app. I had all four days planned out and then one day all of my marked sessions were cleared. There should 5-6 credits in the system to see contact info. Most speakers didn’t have LinkedIn. Hard to connect as there are 8000 people so running into that person you want to talk based on their bio is not likely. With ai, seems there could be better matching and suggestions for connecting. The app seems like it was developed for tablets, not phones. Please make the responsive app design so pages can be rotated and viewed horizontally, not just vertically. When using my 6” screen (iPhone) it only views vertically and cuts important information off, like the end times for sessions. I’d really like to see when a session ends so I can schedule my next session at the right time. **Developer response:** Thank you so much for your feedback.
