Sycamore Whiskey Club is the members' app for a 501(c)(7) social club in Sycamore, Illinois. It is not open to the public: you need an access code from the club to join, and everything inside is visible only to approved members. If you are a member, this is where the club lives between meetings. WHAT'S INSIDE • The feed — what everyone is pouring, what's coming up, and the conversation around it, in channels for announcements, general talk, and bottle hunts. • A tasting log — record what you poured, what you thought, and what you scored it. Your notes are yours; you choose whether a pour is shared with the club or kept private. • A shared library — the club's catalog of expressions, batches and single barrels, built one bottle at a time by the members who drink them. Scan a barcode to find a bottle, or add one that's missing. • Events and blind tastings — see what's scheduled, RSVP, and score a flight blind while it happens. Ratings stay hidden until the room reveals them together. • Your shelf — what you own, what you've finished, and what you're still looking for. HOW MEMBERSHIP WORKS Membership is handled by the club, not in the app. You apply with an access code, an admin approves you, and only then can you see other members or post anything. There are no in-app purchases and nothing is for sale here — event tickets and club merchandise are on the club's website. PRIVACY Member content is visible to approved members only, never publicly. The club runs its own server on its own hardware. The app does not collect location, does not ask for your date of birth, and does not track you across other apps or websites. You can delete your account from inside the app at any time. You must be 21 or older to use this app. Please drink responsibly, and never drive after drinking.
