It would be nice to see where the hikes begin and end in relationship to Sydney. App doesn't allow user to pan out to situate the trail to the city and the names on the index mean nothing to me as a tourist. Being able to scroll through the pictures would be helpful too. Opening and closing them one at a time is too tedious. I can't speak to the actual step by step directions or the transportation options as I haven't used them and probably won't because it's too difficult to figure out which hike I'd like to do. Maps GUI is the worst thing I’ve seen in an app. No way of finding walks based on your current location. Ranked by distance and colour coded for transport type (train, ferry, bus), the guide notes and key photographs ensure that you don’t miss a turn and give you a preview of track conditions.
