I am now again offered to pay $89 for the same premium access - how can you charge the same customer twice for the same premium features (for example, regular map updates and not twice a year, live traffic which was part of the lifetime back in 2018 and now you have to pay for it)? Get your pricing strategy right - do not take premium access away after user has paid for it once. For all those who intend on buying premium - pls reconsider as you will be asked to pay for it again after a few years quoting newer and better features (where in reality it’s the same like CarPlay, maps update etc.). ### 4/5 — Full Screen Advert on startup *2026-08-23, version 26.4.4* Seems to be better than older versions, had lifetime for Android but they removed a lot of features to a subscription, so now got on iOS and paid for a subscription but every start up and it blasts me with full screen advert pushing me to upgrade to a different subscription, if I wanted that subscription I would have got it, so stop forcing that advert on users. also keeps saying head towards compass point and not street or road ### 3/5 — Spoiled by irritating push to purchase add-ons. *2026-08-22, version 26.4.4* Have used it since the first release. Happy with the app functionality. Not happy with the incessant nagging to upgrade or purchase niche add-ons that the majority of users will never want. Complex to set up, unlike Maps, and remove all the clutter from the maps. But the worst thing is - after paying - the constant advert to buy the motorcycle or camper van versions. I have neither and no interest but keep getting pestered in app and by email. I’ve paid for Premium features that have now mysteriously became “Premium+” features. I’m an original grandfathered user. I’m beyond disappointed. I’ve lost all trust in this company and will immediately stop my personal and business support. I understand continuous market presence but this is fraud/ scam ### 1/5 — Dark bands on screen while using CarPlay *2026-08-13, version 26.4.4* The motorcycle add on is absolute garbage. It’s ridiculously expensive and gives you noting for the money. After a number of emails to the support page, I was informed the dark bands at the top and bottom of the screen when using CarPlay, are a designed feature. I have been with it for about two years I think and it has gone worse and worse, but now it’s at the point where it is not possible to use it properly. The CarPlay integration is beyond shocking yet that’s what it needs to be working guys since it’s 2026. It has the features but the basic maps is shocking. It doesn’t know anywhere so I’m constantly switching into Google Maps just to go to one particular place since it gets the cities wrong! The maps is still cartoon so it is really outdated and Google Maps having satellite means it will always be the number one since nobody else is prepared to use it. This does have option for satellite, but that’s only for when you aren’t travelling or actually using it which makes no sense at all. Constantly crashes yet still seems to be getting updates without fixing the issues. I paid for subscription which I have just cancelled. And it took me a lot to get to that point. It has the most features, but when the map doesn’t work, then the whole thing is pointless ### 1/5 — Not happy with it *2026-08-10, version 26.4.4* Not happy with the app. I had it for two days then canceled. Wasn’t able to get my money back. You didn’t always find the location I was looking for. ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Wrong speed limit in North America using Camper Add on *2026-09-01, version 26.4.4* Do not purchase this add-on. When using the Camper profile, all speed limits above 80 km/h are incorrectly displayed as 80 km/h, including 90, 100 and 110 km/h. This is a nationwide issue, at least in Canada. I have reported this to Sygic Customer Care, but their Head of Customer Care, Rudolf Wuscher, refuses to escalate the issue without GPS coordinates for individual locations. I could provide him with billions of locations, because the problem occurs everywhere in Canada where the speed limit exceeds 80 km/h. This is clearly a systematic software issue, not an isolated map error. Unfortunately, Customer Care appears unable or unwilling to understand the nature of the problem or have it investigated by their technical team. My next step will be to file a formal complaint with Apple regarding this in-app purchase and the fact that the paid Camper functionality does not work as advertised. ### 1/5 — Avoid it *2026-08-27, version 26.4.4* Continually instructs you to use the wrong lane, like use the left 2 lanes and turn right. Tells you to turn left/right but give the wrong suburb, like if you’re going to Newcastle it say turn left towards Sydney but Sydney is to the right and Newcastle is to the left. If you try and raise issues with the developer they want GPS coordinates and a 100 other bits of info on the issues, I’m a little busy trying to drive a truck and can’t make a note of every stuff up the app does whilst I’m driving. Constantly sends you on obscure routes adding 10-100kms to your trip all to avoid a 50m stretch of 3T limited roadway. I don’t think this is suitable for Australian roads. Not even worthy of a 1 star review but I had to put something. ### 1/5 — Constantly advertises more subscriptions *2026-08-24, version 26.4.4* Edit (for dev response): This is not annoyance, it misled me to pay for ads that I was not clearly informed about. In a prominent place, please add details about how many ad prompts users will have to see. Also add a note that you think this is just an annoyance and will not provide opt out option. Even after paying for the subscription I am constantly forced to see more subscription ads. I used the app once for 10 mins of actual direction, I have already dismissed ads more than 10 times. Deleted the app, waste of money if you are paying to not see ads. ### 1/5 — Spam *2026-08-23, version 26.4.4* Inaccurate maps and they deduct $30 after the free trial without reminding me. Now I see to use most of the features you need to upgrade to Premium+ which is 89.99 Euro. Why would I pay you money hungry developers that because if I did I’m sure you would upgrade to Premium++ in a few years. I am not going to bother when I can get Maps and Google Maps for free ### 1/5 — No Update at all *2026-08-21, version 26.4.4* After I became a Premium+ member, the map didn't update at all for over a year. I added, fixed and edited many roads on OSM last year, but none of them appeared in this app. I'm disappointed. there are lots of incorrect roads and wrong routing taking me on unnecessary routes. ### 1/5 — Shame it used to be my favorite *2026-08-20, version 26.4.4* I am using this app over 15 years. I traveled all the world with it, and I was the happiest. I don’t know what’s happened to the management system , someone decided to change things that was essential and dealbreaker to me. Unfortunately, over the years I see this app going downhill. One example could be who in the clear mind decide to give you pop-ups when you are driving and sell, you plans or God😊 know what? That by itself, it shows how the management is failing miserably the customers. I used to love this app, and I was proud of it when I was showing it to my friends the things that could do. It fails to list POI in my area and limits gas stations to two brands. I emailed for help and received a response from AI instead of a person in two occasions. Both times I was told to send them the info so they could add it to the app. Sorry. I don't get paid to do their job and correct their app. I cancelled my Sygic Premium subscription. It could be the best gos app available with their options.
