Played through 9 times, collected all the “Prestige” and defeated the Hybrid for the 9th time, only to get returned to the beginning. No closure. Nothing. Left me a little bitter towards the whole game. First off, I should say it’s great fun to play. Quick, simple gameplay with some hidden strategic depth in the form of when to play power crystals and balancing the highest scoring word against a lower scoring one that gives greater reward for hitting a perfect strike. RPG elements are light, more a case of powering up your character in terms of hit points and attack strength; but also different weapons give different power up effects. No story as such but not really necessary either. Just good, all round fun that fits the mobile platform perfectly. Now the bad - the word dictionary is poor to say the least. As others have mentioned, I’ve had several, perfectly valid English words that just aren’t recognised in this game - and that is incredibly frustrating in a word game and it just cheapens the experience. The Devs would do well to replace the dictionary with the universally accepted SOWPODS dictionary used in Scrabble - would easily elevate the game to 5 stars in my opinion. So as my post title says - Good but not great; but it could be with a simple change. ### 5/5 — Kinda gets boring after a while *2017-11-28, version 1.5* Well, this game was fun for a few weeks or so, I mean it's just making words and attacking monsters and by the way how come I lose my bones when I go to my clan? Anyway, would be helpful if it got an update or something. Love the game because it helps keep the brain sharp, but I seriously have no idea which dictionary they’re pulling their words from; I have a broad vocabulary and use words that are Scrabble approved and words that I use in my everyday life, but neither are accepted. On top of that, I made sure that I kept my clan in the #1 spot all week. We were ahead by well over 1,000 points. The reward should have been 1,000 coins for first place, but when I just checked … I still only have 20 coins. Where is my reward? Where are the words? I guess I’ll go do Sudoku or something because this game is not it in its current state. Other issues *2017-11-05, version 1.5* My clan “Game of Bones” finished 6th in the war that just ended, and was set to receive the payout for 5th-10th of 2000 coins. I waited until this morning to write this review to make absolutely sure there was not a delayed payout. We did not receive our reward! The only aspect of this game that makes it worth playing is the weekly clan war. If we are not going to receive rewards for participating, then this game is not worth my time. Next issue....clearly stated in the shop is a sentence that says ads will go away with ANY purchase. Well, I made a purchase and I am still getting ads, just as many as before my purchase. So... not only are they not paying out rewards, they are conning you into spending money. Last issue....what dictionary are you using for this game? It’s bad enough that we end up with a board of almost all consonants or vowels, but then I try to make a word I know exists and the game doesn’t recognize it as a word, I mean c’mon! 1 Star until these issues are resolved. ### 1/5 — Buggy *2017-10-31, version 1.5* Crashes all the time and bugged out on a monster called monster of long name also it's 4/3 monster level should have completed irks me a bit but other than that it's fun ### 1/5 — Unterirdisches Deutsch *2017-10-31* Die Übersetzung ins Deutsche ist richtig schlecht.
