## What is SyllaBrawl?

SyllaBrawl is built on one idea: you don't learn a language by recognizing
words. You learn by retrieving them under pressure.

That's what a duel is. Two minutes, seven rounds, alternating turns with
another player or a bot. Answer faster and more accurately than your opponent
and their HP drops. Miss a word and it comes back in a no-pressure drill,
teach-first. The pressure is the point. The mistakes are the engine.

  — LANGUAGES —

Starting with Korean and Thai. More on the way.

Korean — 17 units, 155 hand-authored lessons. Hangul from day one (you read
안녕 in your first lesson), through politeness, conjugation, and connectives.

Thai — 16 units, 109 hand-authored lessons. Five tones, three consonant
classes, and the Thai script taught as the system that makes Thai work.

Every lesson is hand-authored with an intro, a "why it matters," and example
sentences that recycle vocab you already know.

  — PLAY —

Friend duels, ranked matches, async turn-by-turn play, and bots tuned to your
level. Climb from Tin to Diamond.

  — PRACTICE —

  every miss.

### 5/5 — Can’t Stop Playing

*2026-04-29*

I have a 6-day streak and I’m not breaking it anytime soon. The lessons are actually sticking in my brain and the duels reinforce what I’ve learned. I feel like I learn more when I lose a duel, because the app makes you review your mistakes and drills you on the questions you missed.

**Developer response:** Thanks for the review! Yup that is part of the fun. even when you lose you win!
