## What is Sylvia House?

Welcome to Sylvia House, a house full of learning for children ages 6–8.

Explore math, reading and discovery through short activities, pictures and hands-on questions.

LEARN BY DOING
Math activities follow a Think, Learn, Do sequence: explore a situation, try a strategy and practice. Topics include counting, parts and wholes, addition, subtraction and making ten.

EXPLORE MORE ROOMS
Discover English reading, science, world activities, Chinese learning and creative activities.

START FREE
Math chapters 1 and 2 are free. One optional, non-consumable Apple In-App Purchase unlocks the remaining published math chapters. The purchase covers published math chapters, not unfinished future courses. No subscriptions or ads.

LEARN OFFLINE
Course content and prerecorded teacher audio are included in the app. No Sylvia House account is required. Purchasing and restoring purchases require an internet connection.

PRACTICE READING
With optional microphone permission, children can record and replay short reading practice. Recordings stay on the device, are not uploaded and are cleared when leaving the reading activity.

TOOLS FOR GROWN-UPS
A parent area provides learning records, separate learner profiles, record exports and purchase restoration. Keep records on this device, or optionally sign in with Apple or Google for a private family account and learning-record sync. Children do not need their own sign-in. Link sign-ins or delete the family account in Family account. Existing device-only records are not automatically uploaded. Purchases and external links are protected by a parent gate.
