If you ask me, I don’t know what these other people who recommend this is talking about, I have to give it thumbs down until the fix this problem!!! ### 1/5 — Cannot get it to work *2019-11-28, version 1.1.1* I have a SYMA X5SW-V3 that I bought to learn to fly drones and take aerial photos with. The drone flies great. I love using it an learning to fly it. I have no idea if the camera works at all as I’ve never been able to get the SYMA Fly app to work. If I open the app without being connected to the camera via WiFi the app opens fine. Press “Start” and it takes you right to the main screen but the screen is all greyed out with cross hatching since there is no signal. If I plug the camera in and turn on the drone, the green light on the camera lights up. The WiFi signal is easily acquired and connected. The red light in the camera begins flashing to show it’s connected. But if you open the app and press start the app immediately goes to the background. I can’t get the app to open to the main screen. I’ve never seen an image from the camera. I really don’t know what to do to fix it. I’ve looked for solutions on the internet and fiddled with it endlessly, but to no avail. I was going to upgrade to a bigger SYMA drone, but I need this for my job and I have to know it’s going to be reliable in the field. I just don’t feel that assurance so will likely buy another brand when I upgrade. ### 1/5 — Doesn’t work *2019-11-10, version 1.1.1* I remember using this app on my old phone to use with my drone and it worked pretty well. I got a new phone a few months ago and recently downloaded this app again to use for the same drone. But for some reason when I press start, it crashes every single time. I check to make sure I’m connected to the drone but nothing works. As soon as I turned my drone on the wifi network popped up and connected. I went to the app snd hit start and immediately started working. Most 1 and 2 star reviews on this app are operator error or trying to use this app with a non compatible device or drone.
