For example: 12+5(-12y-9) should be expanded to -60y-33. The “correct” answer: -60x-33. I reached out to service on this issue and nothing has been done to fix it. ### 1/5 — No landscape orientation! *2023-05-08* On the IPad versions of the app there is no landscape orientation, this means that I need to take the IPad out of the keyboard to use the app. This is incredibly inconvenient and it also means I can’t have this app and a note taking app open at the same time. Please fix this and I will amend my review. ### 1/5 — This app is not free *2022-12-13* This app is unusable without paying for a subscription. Don’t make the mistake if downloading it, unless you’re wanting to spend money. They give you access to one (very simple) question per topic, and then block you from any others. ### 1/5 — Does not rotate to landscape! *2022-12-10* This app does not rotate to landscape orientation on iPad! It's stuck in portrait orientation, which makes it essentially unusable with a physical iPad keyboard. This issue does not exist in the Symbolab calculator app, only here, so I can't imagine it's impossible to implement. The website isn't a valid alternative on iPad either because keypresses are oddly staggered, each keypress registering the previous, which makes it almost unusable. I have practiced around about two hours a day after work for a year before returning to school last spring (on the computer using their webapp). I hadn’t done math since high school (7 years ago) and barely passed precal. This app has given me a new confidence in math that I have never had in my life. Thank you Symbolab developers! We would love to hear from you! ### 4/5 — Problem with input boxes on iPad *2021-10-19* And no hint, and correct answer marked wrongly. Should be able to see actual answer after attempting quiz questions. Edit: I take this back. Input boxes work. And multiple ways of writing fractions are accepted, I tested this, and the camera recognition for handwriting works. There was one odd question in the first differentiation quiz which was ignored and I got marked 5/5?… even if it said incorrect?… plz check this.
