I started with the basic version and then I guess it was a week or so ago that I decided I wanted the full version and honestly I’m loving it that much more. At first I had said it was just the simplicity of the app but if I’m being entirely honest — once I started really thinking about it, the mathematics and geometry of it all is anything but simple. **Developer response:** Thank you so much for the positive feedback! Sorry about that! ### 4/5 — How do you reset this? *2026-05-12* I was experimenting with the setting and now I can’t get back to making kalidescope images. :( **Developer response:** Hi Abner, it's hard to say exactly what's happening without knowing more, but in general the way to increase the number of folds of symmetry is to tap the symmetry button on the right toolbar (looks like a circle with one or more lines dividing it into sections) and adjust using the slider and button in that drawer. The only thing i'd still like to see is the option to let color overpoint what's already there; right now the colors are additive meaning in the end it's all white.
