With some many good developers out here in 2025, there shouldn’t be a app this clunky.

The patient experience within the Symplast app is significantly hampered by its inefficient document submission process. Uploading documents is restricted to camera or photo gallery access, which is not conducive to modern healthcare workflows. To provide the lab work requested by my surgeon, I was forced to screen capture individual pages of the PDF report from my primary care provider's portal, creating a clunky, time-consuming task. I strongly recommend adding a feature for direct PDF file uploads and exploring secure integrations with common patient health portals to resolve this critical flaw. Currently, the process feels like an oversight that adds unnecessary friction to patient compliance.

My doctors office required this app. It took three days for them to get it to work for me and they had to contact the manufacturer. It is difficult because it’s always logging me out and I cannot understand why it’s so hard to have a user-friendly app.

That’s it. I open the app, a picture of a girl comes up, then the sign in screen for only a SPLIT second before going straight back to the loading screen with the girl and freezing. Literally haven’t gotten past the sign in/loading point and have had the app for months because my doctor told me to download it. It doesn’t even work

This app logs me out every single time I close out of it. When I go back in, it bypasses the registration page and sits on the faded photo of a woman with no info or way to enter anything. In order to get back in to my account and use the app at all, I have to delete the app and reload, then register with a new code. Every time. And it doesn’t ask me to save my password to my keychain so it’s never saved, I have to remember it, and I always make a really strong (and odd) one since this has to do with medical info. I really wish my provider didn’t use this app.

This company is using third party contractors to facilitate appointments. The providers are incompetent. I was no-showed by the provider. Like yours, my time is valuable and I expect better from a company that’s utilized by a medical facility I’m paying thousands of dollars to receive services from. I don’t trust this sloppy platform or business and you shouldn’t either.
