Notifications would be sufficient. On numerous occasions while driving home, I will get messages from the hospital. However, I will not be aware of the messages until I stop my car and check the phone. This is getting annoying. The app icon appears in my CarPlay. However, it has no functionality. Just a notification would be sufficient. There are many times I am driving and don’t get notified about a new message until I reach where I’m going. It takes significantly longer to send a message without it looking@like@this@because@the@space@bar@is@in@the@wrong@spot. This makes it challenging to accurately respond to messages in a timely manner and may negatively affect delivery of patient care. Prior to this issue, this app warranted 3 stars. Function though somewhat frustrating for an iPhone user. ### 1/5 — Recent update ruined keyboard *2023-03-28, version 23.2.0* For an app that is used to write messages, the most recent update ruined the entire functionality of Halo. No access to the comma or parentheses, the space bar is small and shunted to the side, while less functional symbols are readily available. You have to search for punctuation, there’s no comma AND the @ symbol is in the most inconvenient location. Also, it’s very annoying that the comma key is gone (or I can’t find it), and you have to hunt for punctuation marks. The older keyboard was much better, more efficient than this one. It’s absolutely terrible. I can’t give a rating of a negative star so I wont be giving a star at all. Doesn't support back gesture. Takes 5 or more taps to go back. Regularly doesn't push messages through. ### 1/5 — Not making audible announcement *2025-08-17, version 25.4.0* I used to reliably get audible alerts. A month ago it stopped being reliable. I’m missing clinical alerts. Perhaps settings changed. I went through setting and set some alert settings. I’ve never touched those before. We use this for time critical notifications for patient care. Haphazard notifications isn’t good. ### 1/5 — Not for the unprofessional. *2025-02-13, version 25.1.1* The app is okay until you realize how immature and unprofessional your co-workers are. Wish there was a block button so I could only talk to my managers only. I wouldn’t recommend unless you want Human Resources involved.
