Data input is cluncky, it won’t scan lab reports, when scheduling cycles and other meds, the app is not as comprehensive as others. The app is over priced when compared to others and other apps provide more functionality. An additional draw back is that CareClinic does not sync with Apple heather or other apps like garmin. Over all not happy with this app and feel like I got ripped off due to the high price. ### 1/5 — I can’t take away anymore stars but this is a scam *2026-06-14, version 8.3* It just keeps getting worse and this seems to be the only thing the developers respond to. Got an email saying to respond to a specific email if my request for support had not been answered. I did and no answer. Not only that I have unsubscribed from the newsletter 3 times now and I’m still getting it. If you charge me for another month’s subscription I’ll just report it to Apple and you can deal with them. Delete my account and unsubscribe me from the newsletter. You know what email I used to create my account. It’s not this one. I’m updating my review to take away one star and would take away both if I could. The glitches made it impossible to use and now I’ve tried to reach out for support 3 times. The last 2 because I can’t delete my account in the app. FIX THIS! I should be able to delete an account I no longer want so, especially when it involves sensitive information. I set it up with a different email than my Apple one for a reason. For an app that I have to pay to use there are an awful lot of bugs. Trying to add conditions and the app keeps crashing. I try to mark symptoms and the app starts randomly scrolling through symptoms and scrolling and scrolling and there’s no way to stop it so I can finish marking them. Every time I add a condition and say it has been diagnosed before I save it the app saves it as “suspected” and I have to go in again and re-mark it as diagnosed. I can only do that if the app doesn’t decide to crash. If it crashes before I’ve saved a check in I have to go back and re-do that whole check in. Misleading and b. kind of evil to hide key features like exporting **your own data** and thus the ability the share with healthcare professionals behind a paywall. Not only that, it’s 4.99 **a week** or 70 dollars. I might genuinely consider it otherwise but this is really disappointing. ### 1/5 — Appears to be a scam *2026-06-02, version 8.3* Note: I tried this app again after a response by the developer. If anything, it’s worse than before. Unusable. I subscribed accidentally when I saw the description “Your week free”, I thought it was a free trial. There’s no way to contact human support, the support chat icon goes to a misconfigured ChatGPT window. Emails come from a no-reply address but falsely say “reply to this email to get a $10 Amazon voucher”. The app has tons of “features” but it’s buggy and cluttered. Avoid. ### 1/5 — Keeps Charging After Cancellation *2026-05-29, version 8.3* We cancelled this app two years ago. They tried to charge our credit card again last year and we disputed the charges. So, they refunded. This year, they have charged our card again and we have disputed again. Then it locked up after I chose “maybe later” for notifications after I picked my gender (Cmon, are we still using “other”?) This was on Mac OS 26 on MacBook Air with an M3 ### 1/5 — Avoid!! *2026-05-16, version 8.3* First of all, this app is overly complicated and difficult to navigate. It’s like an exact replica of the Bearable app but with a bunch of extra bs. I liked how customizable it is but most of it’s behind a paywall. It costs extra to edit or delete past entries, track more than a few symptoms, and view any analytics of your data which is basically the whole point of the app. The subscription ad that pops up every two seconds is impossible to close without accidentally purchasing the scammy free trial. You’re also forced to immediately create an account without the option to opt out of providing demographic data like sex and birthday. The optional info they request is worse. Household income? Education level? Home address?? Personal health records???? I thought this was a medication and symptom tracker, not a bootleg version of MyChart with inspirational therapy quotes…I’d be less annoyed if they were more transparent about data collection and use of AI, but the privacy policy is conveniently not accessible anywhere in the app. Now I just want to delete my account data but it’s literally impossible. They make you jump through a thousand different hoops then after finally hitting delete, an error message says “the session has expired. you need to log back in.” After the THIRD time this happened, I tried the website instead. There, the “deactivate account” words just turn red when clicked and nothing happens. Seriously?? I find it hard to believe this is unintentional at this point. Their “24 hour support” is literally just a link to a chatGPT prompt instructing it to act like a customer service agent. Save yourself the headache! ### 1/5 — Email spam *2026-05-03, version 8.2* Tired of trying an app where you have to give your details first BEFORE you realise it’s not for you or it’s not free as promoted. This is another one. And now I’m bombarded with spam emails from CareClinic even though I’ve unsubscribed. ### 4/5 — Recent update? *2026-03-26, version 8.1* I’ve have Care Clinic for over almost 2 years as a paid subscriber. It has been very helpful. However there are some new glitches happening the past few days. I’ve uninstalled & reinstalled. It’s still acting glitchy - like if I go add a time, if closes out the screen. I can only change time with the +\- 15 button. Wanted to be sure the programmer is aware & can hopefully fix it soon. Not only does this app have everything you would need but it is straight forward and easy to learn how to use. I find the medication tracker useful and I like that you can link accounts to have someone to help you with staying on top of things. I can see myself using this everyday. **Developer response:** Having medication tracking and linked accounts in one place makes daily health management a lot simpler. I tried selecting the lowest price and paid. Bank flagged for fraud but I approved (yes I was trying to buy a membership). Later saw I was billed- paid both prices. Contacted company- no response. Cancel through Apple- they refunded lower price but now I don’t have access to premium. Contact company again- I’ve paid higher price with no access. 1 month later and still no response. Very frustrating and disappointing as I wanted app to help track symptoms and side effects during cancer treatment. ### 1/5 — Lost all my data! *2026-08-24* I have been using the app to track medications, nutrition, fluid intake, journal, symptoms etc for my care. I use the app on 2 devices. I had entered a lot of daily data on one device. I found that the information was not visible on the second device. I then tried to log off and login again on both devices. I now seem to have lost all the data that I had entered. Please cancel my subscription and give me a refund. **Developer response:** Losing daily medication, nutrition, fluid, journal, and symptom records after switching devices is serious. Please email support@careclinic.io with your account email and both device models so the team can investigate. Apple manages App Store refund decisions, but support can help document the account issue. ### 1/5 — App keeps deleting my data *2026-08-24* I’ve been using this app for half a year now. It seemed usable despite the various glitches but those are manageable. However, TWICE now has the app randomly deleted all of my data even if I have it backed up and then it tells me that I actually haven’t backed it up since I first got the app which just isn’t true. I have serious health issues and it is unacceptable for there to be this many problems. I’ve tried to get in contact with customer service but with all the various links- it brings me either right back to the app or to chatgpt which then tells me to ask customer service for help. I’ve emailed with no response and for the amount i’m paying to have this app, there should not be these issues. This app is extremely important for those with chronic health issues and these issues need to be addressed. I’m honestly probably going to try and find a different app because there is nothing I can do at this point and I need this data to manage my health. **Developer response:** Losing health records twice, followed by an automated support loop, is a serious experience. Reply: the app suddenly logged out and when I logged in everything I added in app was gone. I tried to contact non existent customer support. **Developer response:** Your health data syncs to your account, so logging back in should restore everything. Instead of replying to all of these awful reviews with snarky little comebacks, maybe y’all could actually LISTEN to our feedback, accept that your app has major flaws, and take it as constructive criticism. There is absolutely no reason why deleting your account/subscription or even getting in contact with someone from support should be this impossible. Unless, idk, you’re profiting off of it..? Is that why y’all don’t make an effort to improve your customer service, because it’s easier to scam people into singing up for subscriptions they can’t cancel or relinquishing control of their sensitive data? If you can reply to peoples reviews begging for more stars, you can reply to at least one of my emails ffs!!! ### 1/5 — I just downloaded it today and I think I’m gonna have to delete it *2026-08-03* I really like the concept of this app and debated on seeing how useful & helpful it is and then I would possibly upgrade. The problem is, the first thing I did was go on my profile and update the questions, but no matter what it will not save. And then the second thing I did was click to enter my health insurance information however it just completely freezes everytime. I feel like I’ve spent more time trying to find a way to get in contact with somebody regarding this issue then even getting to look into the app. As much as I want to really like this, if I can’t do these two simple tasks then I don’t feel the app would be beneficial and definitely don’t see the need to pay for additional features that may or may not work. The app immediately took me through preliminary data questions, so there was no way (that I saw) to actually explore the app before doing this. During this process, I came to a free trial/subscription choice … and inadvertently enrolled in a weekly subscription before I actually finished reading the options. (Inadvertent as in a poorly placed finger hit the button as I was trying to scroll through). This was my error of course, but I immediately started looking for contact or support to see if I could address this. I could only find a FAQ section … there is no actual contact info that I could find for this app. In looking for this info, I found a variety of other possible subscription options that are listed on the Apple app description but definitely were not on the list that was present in the app. It seems problematic that there is no actual support for this app, at least that I could find. I am going to immediately cancel my inadvertent subscription, and choke down the cost … I may still explore it for the week that my accidental subscription is valid, but I am not inclined to use the app after this frustrating and fruitless waste of my time.
