### 4/5 — Track my Symptoms - Help!

*2025-05-10, version 2025.3.10*

How can I flip the body part diagram around so it is the back? Im using this for back issues but the diagram will only register the front side of the body for me? Helppp!

### 4/5 — Fixed: Missing Privacy Policy

*2022-09-30, version 34.0.0*

UPDATE: One of the developers stated there was a technical issue with the website and the privacy policy is now available. Thank you!

DO NOT USE THIS APP UNTIL THERE IS A PRIVACY POLICY. This link to the Privacy Policy for this app is broken and no privacy policy seems to exist. Completely unacceptable for a company offering an app that stores private medical information.

### 4/5 — Good app, but cant change time

*2022-03-17, version 33.8*

When i go to log a note, it sets it as the time i compose it, however when i try to change the time, i set the time to when i want the note to have been composed at, it stays as the time that it is currently. Other than that it is a good app. still haven't explored all the features yet, but i am glad that it has Cystic Fibrosis as a condition. It is hard to find it on apps like this. Please fix the time changing issue.

### 4/5 — Useful

*2022-01-15, version 33.8*

I find the app very useful except for the fact that you can not track when your symptoms ended so you only have a starting time and there is not notes section to add it on either but other than that this app is great.

### 4/5 — Great App

*2021-11-01, version 33.7*

I love this app for tracking my symptoms. The only issue i have with it is not being able to click on/edit/delete the entries in the timeline. If that bug could get fixed the app would be great.

### 3/5 — Bug

*2021-06-21, version 33.6*

I think there might be a bug, I can’t get past the opening screen before it crashes, but I was able to get into the app when I first got it a day or two ago, and actually it’s set up very nicely and I would like to get to explore the app a bit more

### 3/5 — Great idea, poor functionality

*2021-05-07, version 33.4*

Revised review: Kyle contacted me and told me they were working through a bug that is causing this problem. I do hope they can fix it because if this app is up and running and doing what it says it can do, it will be amazing. But for now BACK UP YOUR DATA if you are using it (though I haven’t seen a way to import it back in...
Changing my review from 1 star to 3.
If it gets fixed, it will be a solid 5!

From 5/3/21 (I think): I spent over an hour getting everything set up, subscribing, adding in all the symptoms for myself and my daughter, only to wake up this morning and have everything gone. If I have to enter everything from scratch every day, I’d rather just track it on paper. That would be easier. Why should I pay $6 a month to have to work so hard to track - and have no record of what you entered?

### 2/5 — I want to like this app

*2021-04-09, version 33.3*

This app has many thing to recommend it. I particularly like that it allows customization. That said, it uses a pain scale of 1-5, rather than 1-10. I am completely flummoxed by this as every doc I’ve ever gone to uses 1-10. Why mess with what works? Please change it to 1-10 so it will coordinate with what actual medical professionals want to know. Otherwise this feels arbitrary and useless. Sigh.

### 2/5 — Reviews misleading, very disappointing, frustrating to use

*2021-01-23, version 32.6*

I thought this would be everything a symptom tracker for a chronic, systemic, complex group of disorders given the reviews but in practice it’s clunky, difficult to use, and completely unreliable.

I keep experiencing issues such as typing out detailed notes, symptom descriptions, or things that help etc and then for no reason I can figure out the text disappears. Obviously terrible id you’re trying to log during a flare.

While there’s a lot of customizability in the details and being able to map body locations the UI is really difficult and fiddly to use - it takes far too much effort/time and needs to be corrected a lot to be accurate. There’s also no ability to specify front/back of the body map or add notes for particular areas - the spots can cover too wide area an area.

### 2/5 — I want to like this app but it’s too buggy

*2020-12-29, version 32.6*

Maybe a problem with a recent update, I have an iPhone 12, latest software. I tried uploading photos, sometimes it works, sometimes not. Viewing photos always displays a message: “Failed to purchase load some photos.”

### 2/5 — Had potential

*2020-07-28, version 31.0*

I really liked this app at first—then I started using it more and digging around. The app actually doesn’t work at all. For instance, if you record a symptom as “mild,” the app stores it as “not felt.” This throws off everything.

The report that can be generated is actually just a list of your records—but because the app doesn’t record them correctly, they’re wrong, making the report useless for tracking your symptoms (which is the whole point of this app). The app has great graphs, but they’re not included in the report. It’s literally just a list of your entries over a given time period.

Overall, this is a great idea for an app—it just doesn’t work. I’ve been asking support about the problems for a while now (almost two weeks). They say they’re aware the app doesn’t work and that the problem has been fixed—but until there’s an update pushed out, this app flat-out doesn’t work.

(The developers also apparently had people they were interviewing for jobs complete some of the reviews, which is REALLY unethical, even if they didn’t ask for positive reviews. If you’re interviewing for a job, you’re not going to insult the company).

### 3/5 — Potential but not useful

*2020-07-25, version 31.0*

Like the simplicity and customization options but each time I try to enter a record, there is no way to move to next field. Once I select the date and start time there’s no way to move Next to the end date or end time.
The only option is to Submit to create the record.
Then in reports you can’t select a dot in the chart to edit a symptom / record previously entered. No other way to edit pre entered records.
This is the basic foundation of the App to track data. I’m using iPhone 8.

### 4/5 — Good App

*2020-06-17, version 29.0*

App is easy to use and has a good interface

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Misleading - Subscription required

*2024-10-09*

No mention that this requires a subscription to use until you have downloaded the app. 7 day free trial but that isn’t long enough to decide if I want to pay for it.

### 1/5 — Closes and won’t open

*2022-04-26, version 33.9*

I was excited for this app to track my unique symptoms I’m experiencing for my upcoming neurology appointment but once I added my symptoms to track, the app shut off while I was using, and now it will not open. I’ve shut my phone off several times and it still will not work.

### 1/5 — Hard to use

*2022-02-04, version 33.8*

App seems delayed, very difficult to use.

### 1/5 — Nothing free here

*2021-04-14, version 33.3*

Cost is 5.99 a month. So many apps can be used without a fee. This only has a 7 day free trial. That’s not what I consider “in app purchases “. I consider that a fee for using it. Might be a good app but I can’t do the monthly fee.

### 1/5 — Broken Apple Watch app, and broken normal app

*2020-10-30, version 32.3*

It wouldn’t take hardly any of the symptoms I added to the record section to the watch app, and of the three it did, when I actually needed to track one, it never actually added it to the records. Additionally, after attempting to set up the app the previous day, it.. never changed the day. The week calendar up top changed the date listed to the 29th, but listed it as Tuesday still, and wouldn’t let me scroll to any different days. I had high hopes but if your app can’t talk to itself, there’s no point.
And yes, I tried to find the app support, which led to a broken 404 link, so no, there’s no help there.

### 1/5 — First thing it does is ask for money

*2020-07-21*

Nope #uninstalled

### 1/5 — Good concept

*2020-06-22, version 29.0*

The creators of this app wrongfully made me write a review during a job assessment of mine for OpenCare to get higher reviews.

### 1/5 — It was okay

*2020-06-21, version 29.0*

The app was actually just okay.

### 2/5 — Driving me crazy!

*2021-11-10, version 33.7*

Delayed response when I tap any option. Not easy to compare symptoms as can only see separate graphs. Timeline option - what does it even tell you? Needs to be a visual timeline.

Not user friendly at the moment but the creators do seem like they might be prepared to take on user feedback 🤞

### 2/5 — Wanted to Like

*2021-06-25, version 33.6*

I wanted to like this app, but when setting it up, it tells me to “pick all that apply” in answer to a question - yet I’m only allowed to select one option, ever. That’s got to be a simple bug to fix, so why is it happening? Makes me wary of how well they’ll be able to maintain symptom records since this simple issue exists as it is.

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Brand new user:LOVE IT!

*2021-09-25, version 33.7*

Simple Clear Manageable MINE!
Tracking my new awful, complicated diagnosis has been a nightmare! Frightening and jumbled. This app helped me to organize MY THOUGHTS as well as my meds. It was easy to enter my info and hit track to follow my progress and add notes and photos. As I enter this nee trial I am so grateful for this powerful yet easy to use little app.

### 5/5 — All-in-one stop for managing your health

*2021-04-04, version 33.2*

First of all, I want to say that this sort of app is what I’ve been looking for for a very long time. It is highly personalized to my specific conditions and symptoms and it is easy to navigate. Better yet, the developer is highly receptive to suggestions and personable with what seems a genuine interest in making this app the optimal tool for people with chronic conditions to manage their health. I would recommend this app to anyone with a chronic illness or anyone simply interested in more proactively managing their health.

### 5/5 — Clear info in App Store privacy labels

*2021-01-11, version 32.6*

I literally picked this app as seemingly all competing apps are not disclosing privacy label in app store yet. Good job on your team for being transparent and prompt about update.

### 5/5 — This is a good designed App

*2020-06-30, version 30.0*

This App is welled designed and easy to use. Love it!

### 5/5 — Amazing organization map!

*2020-06-23, version 29.0*

The organization and functionality of the app is great! Keeping medical records and symptoms organized and together is tough, this app makes it super easy! After I saw this, I immediately told my parents and friends to download it to make doctor experiences so much easier!

### 5/5 — I like it

*2020-06-18, version 29.0*

As a nursing student I do the like the idea of being able to record down my symptoms and keeping everything logged down throughout the day, being able to take side notes and add on future appointments time with reminders.
It's definitely easy to see if I have any lining up symptoms that often occurred and etc.

Even though the application is clean and easy to use I feel like an older generations would have a harder time using to to navigate because they're not exactly sure on how to grasp the concept of technology.

### 5/5 — Clean interface

*2020-06-18, version 29.0*

I appreciate the lack of clutter and respect for space in this health app! Many may try to overload the screen with a lot of information at once. OpenCare makes it easy to see the information that's important to you, and just that information.

### 5/5 — Great app!

*2020-06-17, version 29.0*

I really love the features that this app provides. The reports that are created from the data I put in are my favorite - very useful!

### 5/5 — Nice app

*2020-06-16, version 29.0*

Very nice app with intuitive interface and easy to use functions that allow users to track their well-being in a few simple steps. I especially liked the export as PDF option so I can view a consolidated version of my monthly progress. Would definitely recommend!

### 5/5 — Great for my grandfather

*2020-06-16, version 29.0*

I like that this app is user friendly, especially to older folks. Now I know what symptoms my grandfather is showing even if he forgets them later on in the day. He finds it so easy to use the body locater!
