Then in 2019 it changed to require PRO purchase for the same feature. You deserve to be paid for your work but grandfathering in existing users is the right thing to do. I mean there are several apps that do this now, for like $2.99/once. Didn't want to pay a large yearly subscription for a calorie app just to get it to sync with Fitbit. But my diet app does sync with Apple Health, which also doesn't sync with Fitbit. So now ! have my steps visible in my calorie app for a one time (nominal) fee! Edited to add, I contacted the Developer because I wasn't sure if it was auto-syncing. It is, and he was very responsive and helpful! ### 5/5 — I see a few things that need work. *2022-09-25, version 2.4* I wasn't even sure that such an app as this existed, until I googled "can Fitbit sync with Apple Health" and this popped up! This app works very well (flawlessly, as best I can tell)! It syncs my Fitbit with the Apple Health application on my iPhone, making it easier to sync with other health apps that I use. It has been an excellent addition in my means of tracking healthy habits! ### 5/5 — heart beat, speedomater, and no animation on dial to this software *2022-09-25, version 2.4* I'm not someone who buys into a single brand for everything, I like to get what I like and make them work together. I have the Aria Scales but no other Fitbit product, so this app works perfectly to add these data to Apple health kit where everything else is. It's a shame in some way that this app has to exist however I'm very glad it does. Logged into Fitbit, selected data to share, logged into Apple Health, and set the parameters. Clicked the big Sync button. Couldn’t be easier… until it isn’t. Not only did it error on authentication, but it was a big, un-trapped error that only a coder would understand. No recovery offered. IMHO, this is a great idea with poor design, lack of updates, or bad QA. Which is it? This doesn't allow you to participate in competitions in the Fitbit app unless you do the trail competition with friends! Just figured that out!
