WALLET

• Your default wallet is now secured automatically the moment it is created, so there is no separate backup step to remember. The manual backup screen is gone.
• Sign in on another device and you get the same wallet instead of a new empty one.
• The wallet key is tied to your account rather than to the app, so a shared device can never open the wrong wallet.
• Token and Collectibles tabs stay loading while your wallet is scanned for the first time, instead of looking empty as if you owned nothing.
• Transaction history refreshes when you return to the app, reconnect, or pull down.
• Tapping a transaction notification opens that transaction, and Back returns you to the history list.
• Amounts, balances, and prices are formatted the same way across every wallet screen.
• The wallet is now reached from the button on the home screen, and the summary panel at the top is gone.
• Long wallet names, chain addresses, and transaction detail badges no longer overflow or break mid word.
• Typing a comma into an amount is read as grouping, not as a decimal point.
• Unlocking from the wallet no longer loses the screen you came from.

CHAT

• Jump to the message a reply answers. Tap the quoted text above any reply and Sync takes you straight to the original message and flashes it. Works even for older messages that are not loaded on your device yet.
• See the date while you scroll. Scrolling a long chat now shows a floating date, so you always know where you are in the conversation.
• Reply previews show the original message even when it is older than what is loaded on your device.
• Photos fill the bubble properly, with no side gap on portrait shots.
• Video thumbnails load reliably and bubbles are sized correctly.
• Photos and videos you send no longer flicker and reload in your own bubble.
• A message that cannot be decrypted no longer claims it came from another device.
• Your two ticks survive a dropped connection and arrive once you reconnect.

PRIVACY & SECURITY

• Vault contents unlock only after your PIN is actually verified.
• A device that does not hold your private key can no longer destroy it.
• On Android, Sync data is excluded from Auto Backup, so nothing is copied off your phone.
• The vault dashboard is reachable again from Settings and reports its state clearly.

Group Controls & Activity
- Dynamic UI: Message boxes now instantly hide or show if permissions change in admin-only groups.
- Role Enforcement: Action menus (promote, remove, etc.) now precisely reflect your actual permissions. Admin-only rights for adding members and changing photos are strictly enforced.
- Smooth Departures: Remove members with a specified reason. Left or removed accounts now clear smoothly without breaking the chat view.
- Activity Notes: Added clean timeline notes when members join, leave, or get removed. Leaving will display as "You left the group" rather than your name. These alerts won't affect your unread badge count.

Privacy & Security
- Enhanced Hidden Chats: Locked chats stay truly hidden. Contacts inside hidden chats are excluded from your call history, share pickers, and contact searches until unlocked. Hidden states automatically clear upon logout.
- Discoverability: You will only appear in "Find me by phone number" searches if a valid phone number is attached to your account.
- Settings Fix: Corrected a bug on the privacy screen where backing out would revert to a stale choice instead of saving your latest preference.
- Account Deletion: Added backend protection to prevent the abuse of account deletion requests.

FASTER CHAT LIST
Your chats now load from the device first, so the list appears as soon as you open the app instead of waiting on the network. Sync feels noticeably quicker and opens reliably even on a weak connection.

NEW
• Translate as you chat: tap any message to read it in your language — and translate your own draft before you send, so you can write to anyone in their language. (We haven't seen this anywhere else.)
• Group invite links: share a link or QR code to bring people in, with a preview before they join. No more adding members one by one.

BONUS
• Cipher Box: a new word game you can play right inside your group chats. Crack the code together and see who gets it first.

FASTER, MORE RELIABLE CHATS
• Opening a chat is quicker and steadier: messages no longer go missing, and older history fills in as you open or scroll, even on a weak connection.
• Empty chats open right away instead of showing a loading spinner.
• Group member names and photos now appear without placeholders.
• Contacts load reliably when you open the app.

FIXES & IMPROVEMENTS
• Calling back from a call log now starts the correct type, audio or video.
• Emojis render larger and clearer.
• All chat content loads after you unlock with your PIN.
• "Get Smart Reply Suggestions" no longer crashes the app.
• QR codes are easier to scan and now carry the Sync logo in the center.
• Chats with no messages show the right time and sort correctly.
• Messages received while offline no longer appear as empty bubbles.

Calls, messages & notifications
- More reliable realtime messages and push notifications when coming back from the background.
- Smoother calls: a single ringtone per call, and picture-in-picture now closes the moment a call ends.
- Fixed a case where the same message could arrive twice (once live, once as a push notification).

Chat
- New jump-to-latest button to instantly scroll back to the newest message.
- @mentions in group chats: a member's name is highlighted and tappable — tap to open their profile.
- Deleted accounts now show as "Deleted Account" while keeping the chat and history; their messages are read-only.
- Names and avatars now display correctly for everyone in group chats.
- In-app notification when someone sends you a friend request.

Trusted Custodian Improvements 
A person you trust can now securely wipe your account data from your device when needed. You'll now get an in-app alert the moment you're set as someone's custodian or a custodian action happens — tap to jump straight in.
