## What is SyncBeam?

SyncBeam is the fastest way to get files from your iPhone to your Mac — no cloud, no accounts, no AirDrop mystery failures.
Set up takes 30 seconds. Install the Mac app, scan the QR code with your iPhone, and you're paired for good. After that, sending a file is two taps: tap Share, tap SyncBeam. Your file travels over your local Wi-Fi and lands in ~/Downloads instantly.

How it works
SyncBeam uses mDNS/Bonjour to find your Mac automatically — no IP addresses, no port forwarding. Files are transferred directly over your local network using token-secured HTTPS. Nothing ever touches a server.
