This means that functionality from any POV other than an administrator is not of concern. With the amount of bugs in this software, it should not have ever gotten past an early alpha phase. It also lacks basic functionalities like the ability to sync (ironically) with google classroom automatically. Instead, teachers must upload a spreadsheet each time grades are to be updated. While they do offer the ability to use only this platform, it is so horrible and dysfunctional that it is also impossible. This allowed us to focus on features such as push notifications when students are marked absent, late, or excused, so families can stay informed in real time. Regarding Google Classroom, SyncGrades has full permission to sync automatically, and many of our schools are already enjoying seamless integration between both platforms. Additionally, our support specialists are available to meet individually with administrators and teachers to assist with setup, troubleshooting, or custom requests. We take great pride in providing personalized support because SyncGrades is more than an app—it’s a tool that helps strengthen the school community for parents, students, and educators alike. Now that we’ve built out attendance notifications and other features that educators use daily, your students and guardians can also access these notifications directly from their mobile devices. As you may know, every app update—whether on iOS or Google Play—requires approval, which can take some time. Our development team is actively incorporating feedback from educators like yourself to improve the SyncGrades app. Please also keep in mind that the space on a mobile device is limited compared to a computer, so some pages, such as a full gradebook with all students and assignments, may have limitations.
