Per their website, Synchrony uses the third-party company, Persona, to scan your government issued ID to verify your identity.  Persona has ties to Peter Thiel, Palantir, and the US government.  

If you're neurodivergent, you should probably avoid anything associated with Thiel, Palantir, and Persona.  They're not your friends.

I understand the idea behind email code verification as well as ID verification but needing a reference for a dating app is absolutely crazy I mean this isn’t a job
