### 2/5 — Desktop component uses more than 1GB of RAM

*2010-12-16*

So I'm running the desktop companion to this app (a required part for syncing, naturally), and activity monitor shows the process using more than 1.1GB of memory (RAM). For comparison the stickies application itself uses about 20MB. This is a huge tax on the system and is probably due to terrible coding on the developer's part. I really wanted an app to sync my sticky notes between my iphone and my computer, and was okay paying a very high price for this app if it providing the functionality I was looking for.

The app doesn't allow you to edit notes from your iOS device, only from your computer. This is okay for me, I just take the few notes I need on my iphone in the notes app, then when I get home I type them up on the computer, not too bad, but I only take a few lines of notes in a day. This app is really useful for syncing a daily schedule, shopping list, or other note that you want to have handy on both your computer and iOS device. Unfortunately the app messes with the formatting, and makes everything double-spaced, which I find annoying, and less visually pleasing.

Overall I find the application badly written for system usage, to the point that it bogs down my system, ridiculous for a small background utility that just sits in the menubar. The formatting issue is also an annoyance, and not being able to edit stickies from the iOS device is also annoying, but this might not be possible from the stickies application itself's end. Also, the price is way over inflated. This all combines to being a disappointment, and a corresponding low rating. I think it's almost unusable for anyone who has less than 4 gigs of ram and is willing to devote a whole 1/4 of their system memory to running a badly coded, tiny background utility. I'm looking to get a refund.

### 1/5 — Failed to sync as advertised

*2010-12-03*

After installing the app and following the instructions, my ipod touch failed to sync with my MacBook Pro as advertised. I attempted to contact the distributor to no avail. I wouldn't recommend this product.

### 5/5 — thank you for making this

*2010-09-22*

I set it up in like a minute...
works exactly as described, I have a warm and fuzzy feeling when I'm away from my computer now

### 4/5 — great app, looking forward for more

*2010-09-19*

This app is what I was looking for (except missing 2-way sync). I think the issues that people are having might be mistyping the id and password. I think I mistyped it and uninstalled/installed again and had no problem the second time. There should be an option to reenter the credentials.
Otherwise, a great app.

### 1/5 — Concerned about security

*2010-09-09*

I downloaded this app and in addition to being completely un-intuitive, the app is almost impossible to close down/quit, the icon appears on the toolbar (instead of the dock), and it is externally managed by an administrator whose visibility rights you can't manually override. Not to mention that the username and password is automatically generated and cannot be created by the user.

Red Flags! Removing it immediately and hiding all traces of it ever being there...

### 1/5 — Unimpressive

*2010-09-01*

Downloaded this app thinking it would be super helpful and easy to use. Since then, have tried to contact support about sync problems and a refund with no reply. I also am un-impressed that you can't edit stickies on the iPhone.

### 5/5 — Very Cool, no problem on iTouch!

*2010-08-28*

I was a little worried about dropping $8 on an app but I have an iTouch and anything that links me one step away from my Mac is worth $8, if it works.

I'm not sure if others had issues with earlier versions, however, this app works exactly as advertised and I had NO issues loading it. I am very happy with it!

Only con at this point, I wish I could (or knew how to) change the font.

If you want your stickies on your iTouch, this app does work perfectly.

### 1/5 — Pretty Slick

*2010-08-27*

OK, I was skeptical at first, based on reviews that it didn't work, but plunked down my $7.99 to get this app, because I rely on my sticky notes on my Mac and was loving the idea of syncing them. I figured I would give it a shot. Boy, was I disappointed when I got it installed on my iPhone and it didn't work! Gave me an error message every time I tried to sync, despite having the desktop client installed, in the Applications folder of my Mac. So, I downloaded it to my iPad and it worked perfectly the first time out! Contacted the developer for help and went back to the iPhone and kept playing with it. Had to re-download it and install it two more times, but the third time was a charm and it worked great on my iPhone! :):):):) Now it is working on both my iPhone and my iPad perfectly. There is a bit of a lag time, about 60 seconds, between making a change on the Mac sticky note and being able to sync that to the device, but nothing major. Developer did get back with my a couple of days later and seemed eager to help. Would have liked a quicker response time, but, in all fairness, he did respond so that made my happy. Of course my issue was solved by them. I am really digging this app a lot!!!! Hoping for two way sync and being able to enter my notes on my device as well, to sync back to the Mac in the future. Thought $7.99 was bit steep for what it does (now if it was two way sync, that would be a different story), but all in all, I am happy with my purchase!

### 5/5 — Wow! It worked... the second time around.

*2010-08-17*

Interesting.... The two of us who have made the first and last (as of August 17th) purchases have given this app strong endorsements. Like the middle reviewers, however, I also got those error messages at first. In my case, at least, they went away as soon as I disconnected my iPad, turned on the WiFi, and opened this app. IT IMMEDIATELY SYNCED THE STICKIES!! I have been looking for this for a long time, first for my iTouch, now for my iPad. It is unfortunate that the directions say nothing about the connection mode -- especially if is as simple as, do it over wi-fi, not over the cable. Note to developer: If that is indeed the case, then change your write-up so that you don't frustrate any other wannabe users.

### 3/5 — Expensive Stickies App

*2010-07-26*

Works exactly as advertised, but for $7.99 should be password protected on startup, be allowed to edit and create stickies on iPhone, and sync both ways. It is a single purpose app. Hope future versions offer more.
