### 3/5 — Needs Improvement

*2025-12-29, version 1.11.0*

The device itself works on and off ? I have read some of the same issues i myself am experiencing.

Bottom line is ? The app works as it should when it wants ? Get the bugs fixed and would be a pleasant experience !

### 2/5 — Annoying af

*2025-12-05, version 1.11.0*

I thought it was a great idea to get this for both my cars. The notifications come in repeated and it’s very annoying. Some days I just want to remove it from the car and toss it in the trash. When I needed it the most I spoke to 3 different reps and all told me something different. After 2 hours on the phone I never got towed. I had to resolve the issue on my own. If I knew then that I would have these issues I would’ve never bought into this. When I called to complain the rep kept saying I hear you. But did she really? I don’t think so. I asked several times what is T-Mobile going to do to compensate me? She never replied.

### 2/5 — Needs Improvement

*2025-10-16, version 1.11.0*

The app needs improvement, such as the notifications are truly annoying. The app doesn’t need to notify me if I start and end my trip. When you turn off the app notifications, you would expect it to stay off, but it doesn’t.
My other issue concerns the hotspot and the app itself. The communication between the two, tends to disconnect, when the device is plugged in.

### 3/5 — Great app except the speed limit

*2025-10-05, version 1.11.0*

It’s a great app that works well. However, the speed limit is set by users and it doesn’t reflect the actual posted speed limit on the road. The developer should connect the speed limit to the actual road and warn drivers if they exceed the limit.

### 2/5 — T-Mobile Employee

*2025-05-14, version 1.11.0*

This device is NOT like it used to be! The app is always up to date so please explain to me why I’ve been home for two hours now and the app keeps telling me that my trip just started! It’s keeps freaking me out, making me think someone stole my car.

The old device used to work so much better. It used to let you know if your car has been hit or tampered with, this one does not. Just giving me delayed trip info!!!

### 1/5 — doesn't work well

*2025-05-13, version 1.11.0*

I understand that it is a problem with the cloud, it does not work in real time with the old equipment and now with the new one this is a problem that has been going on for a while, it did not happen before.

### 5/5 — My ride

*2025-05-10, version 1.11.0*

I absolutely love my SyncUP! It's like having a personal safety assistant on every trip, keeping track of our speed, reminding us about seatbelt use, and ensuring my family's safety every mile of the way. Huge thanks to T-Mobile SyncUP for being our reliable travel companion!

### 1/5 — New device new app, not good

*2025-05-07, version 1.11.0*

Old one used to work. New one has been a headache since the beginning, it never connected to my car I had to call in for them to fix it, worked well for a bit. As someone else mentioned , had to take out the device and now it’s stuck on the date it was removed. On top of that, it does notify me when the car is turned on as well as 15 minutes after I’ve parked telling me there’s movement so now I can’t trust it for safety reasons. Also takes a very long time to load history or just doesn’t load it at all.

### 1/5 — No 2026 option

*2026-01-23, version 1.11.0*

### 1/5 — Drive

*2026-01-06, version 1.11.0*

Why does it stop working if the car hasn’t been driven for a long time ?

### 1/5 — Zero

*2025-11-18, version 1.11.0*

This app is terrible. I’ve tried for days to get the app to work and/or sync to the port.

### 1/5 — Frustrating Experience with Sync up Drive Endless Sync and Location Issues

*2025-10-29, version 1.11.0*

I’ve been using Syncup Drive, and while the idea behind it sounds great, the execution is full of frustrating bugs that make it nearly unusable long-term.
1. Constant Reconfiguration Needed
Even though the Syncup Drive device is connected to the car, the app constantly thinks it’s a brand-new vehicle. Every time you start the car, it acts as if it’s never seen it before. You end up having to add new cars and new profiles repeatedly.
2. Frequent “Merge” Prompts
After adding duplicate cars (profiles). It’s confusing, time-consuming, and feels like the app doesn’t recognize its own data.
3. Incorrect GPS Location
Another recurring issue is the car showing up in completely wrong locations. More than once, it’s shown my car as being in North Dakota when I’m actually in Florida. This isn’t a one-time glitch; it happens frequently and makes tracking unreliable.
4. IMEI Confusion
To make things worse, you practically need to memorize the IMEI numbers of your devices just to manage your cars properly. Each time the app resets or loses sync, you have to reinstall the profile and reassign the correct IMEI to the right car manually.
In summary: Drive One feels like it’s still in beta testing. The concept is promising, but the current experience is buggy and far from seamless. Until they fix the syncing logic, location errors, and repetitive reconfiguration process, it’s more hassle than help.

### 1/5 — Won’t work

*2025-10-09, version 1.11.0*

No WiFi connection.

### 1/5 — FULL of Bugs!

*2025-10-04, version 1.11.0*

This is one of the worst apps I have used lately and am surprised the quality is so low from such a major company.

On the latest iOS 26.0.1 trying to setup my new SyncUP Drive, and when it asks me to name my car, the Next button does nothing. I couldn’t get past this screen until I tried many attempts to tap the button. I don’t have any problems with buttons on any other apps, just this one. Does T-Mobile test this app??

I have an active diagnostic trouble code (DTC) for the EGR flow on my 2001 GMC Yukon, and this was a good opportunity to see how this app reports the DTC. While it reports there is an active code, it displays NOTHING whatsoever about what the code actually is. Disappointing.

When I unplugged and replugged the device to the ODB2 port, it reset all of my SyncUp Drive app notification settings for no reason.

The battery monitor only tells you if the battery is good or not, but does not show a graph of battery level history which would be a lot more useful to see any charge and drain trends.

There is no setting to extend the duration of WiFi hotspot beyond engine off. That is a big missing feature, as sometimes I like to continue to have my devices connected to WiFi when stopping briefly to get gas etc.

Sometimes the app crashes and takes me back to the iPhone home screen, or hangs when first starting up and then I have to force close it and then start it again.

When I used to have Verizon Hum+ (now being discontinued) their app was 100x more reliable and with more useful features.

This app is junk and T-Mobile needs to completely redo it and add a lot of missing functionality that the device hardware is capable of.

Why can’t it even show the DTC??

### 1/5 — Gas Gauge Wont Show For my car

*2025-09-16, version 1.11.0*

Gas Gauge is not showing for my car. It only displays gallons. There should also be a Coolant temperature monitor.

### 1/5 — Save Your Money. Get Something Else

*2025-07-10, version 1.11.0*

The app keeps sending notifications of “new car added” although the car has already been registered. And forces me to re add a new vehicle everytime I start up the car and disables the old profile. Spoke to T-Mobile support and they said “yeah the app is really bad and we get calls everyday about those same issue. You will just have to wait for an app update.”
Totally not worth it. I would go with other options for sure.

### 1/5 — Terrible

*2025-06-26, version 1.11.0*

Literally probably one of the worst apps I have ever used. Data just randomly disappears. When you add new data it does not stay in the app. You click on things and it shows something completely different. It’s awful.

### 1/5 — New App

*2025-06-08, version 1.11.0*

I dont know if its the new app compared to the last one, my ios version, or what. Compared to the last app, this one is slower, more laggy, doesnt give fully live updates, always delayed about five minutes, and no diagnostic updates for the vehicle. It constantly gives speed limit checks and yes I reviewed my settings for all of this. The last app was more quick and less buggy as well as giving driving behavior feedback and was able to actually do all the things it said it was going to (ie tell me its getting towed or diagnostic issue)

### 5/5 — Paying for the service but not working

*2025-10-14, version 1.11.0*

I’ve been paying for the service for over a year and a half and it’s not working until finally like three months ago. I’m thankful the service is working because this is a really die to hard app when doing business or using your laptop or tablet or any device you want to connect to the Internet like at home in the car instead of having a mobile hotspot I’d rather have a strong connection with a device that is incorporated into the car that goes with the car applications and using the car software and updating the card itself using the hotspot from the SyncUP DRIVE not mobile hot hots

### 5/5 — Sync-n-Smile

*2025-09-07, version 1.11.0*

### 5/5 — Vehicle tracker works pretty good

*2025-08-06, version 1.11.0*

I installed sync up drive tracker on my vehicle and it works pretty good most of the time . Another feature I like is that it saves a complete history of everywhere your vehicle goes and anything it detects along the way , like if your speeding or any diagnostic codes your vehicle computer has or even you fastening or unfastening your seatbelts. Bad points . Sometimes it gives false readings ie: it will notify you your vehicle is moving when it’s parked . Scared the heck outa me once , was at Walmart and thought someone was stealing my vehicle, ran out to the parking lot to find it parked where I left it. 🤪as well as disturbance alerts like if it’s thundering or giving me the wrong location like where I was at and it still showing I’m parked where I was previously at not where the vehicle is actually at. So what I did was install a camera in the vehicle so I can look at my camera when I get an alert . 1 thing leads to another . But overall worth what it cost even if it gives you false alerts sometimes .

### 5/5 — Owner

### 5/5 — syncup drive

*2025-07-07, version 1.11.0*

this app is freaking amazing. I love it. I love T-Mobile of course T-Mobile loves me too. I know it because I write reviews all the time and I enjoy being a member and part of the team of T-Mobile. I am so glad that I end up getting this for my vehicle tells me everything I need to know about the vehicle as well as given my family access to Wi-Fi and no one where my car is at all times thank you T-Mobile for being such a great provider. Screw you Xfinity at least T-Mobile gives me rewards. Offers you cannot keep up with T-Mobile because T-Mobile is the best never switched over to Xfinity ever again.
