I find myself using this app for sending calendar invites because of Synology’s poor integration with iOS calendar. It is ok, I wish it remembered whether you were in the mail or the calendar tab last time and started back in the same tab. It also shows weird messages like asking if I want to send decline message when I am the one sending an invite (should ask if I want to send invite). When sending invites, allow contact search instead of just searching for email addresses. Also if you want it to be an all in one app, add the ability to see multiple email accounts like outlook.

MailPlus iOS se présente comme une application professionnelle, cependant l’expérience utilisateur actuelle ne reflète pas encore ce positionnement. À l’usage, l’interface web se révèle nettement plus ergonomique et productive que la version iOS, qui souffre d’un excès de minimalisme au détriment de l’efficacité opérationnelle.

L’absence d’options de mise en page, une vue en conversation peu adaptée au suivi de volumes importants d’échanges, ainsi qu’un manque de personnalisation des vues rendent l’application difficilement exploitable dans un contexte professionnel réel.

Au-delà de l’interface, il manque également des fonctionnalités clés de pilotage des flux entrants, pourtant essentielles dans un cadre professionnel :
– possibilité de demander une confirmation ou une validation automatique pour les e-mails entrants ne faisant pas partie d’une base de contacts préalablement approuvée ;
– règles avancées permettant d’identifier, filtrer et prioriser automatiquement les messages issus de formulaires web (demandes clients, réservations, contacts site) ;
– gestion intelligente des horaires de réception, avec envoi automatique de réponses personnalisables en dehors des heures d’ouverture (message d’indisponibilité, délai de réponse, redirection éventuelle).

Ces fonctionnalités existent déjà partiellement dans de nombreux environnements professionnels et sont déterminantes pour une adoption à grande échelle.

En l’état, je continue donc d’utiliser Apple Mail, qui offre une gestion plus ouverte et plus pragmatique des comptes et des règles. Je suivrai néanmoins avec intérêt les évolutions UX/UI et fonctionnelles de MailPlus iOS, en espérant une montée en maturité alignée avec l’excellence matérielle et logicielle habituellement associée à l’écosystème Synology.

Aujourd’hui, l’application donne encore le sentiment d’un produit trop immature pour un usage professionnel intensif.

Hallo liebes Entwicklerteam! 
Ich bin total begeistert von der Synology MailPlus App. Die Synchronisation funktioniert sehr gut und es läuft besser als das Telefon basierte Mailprogramm. Was ich mir für die Zukunft wünschen würde, wäre die Verknüpfung mit den im Handy gespeicherten Geburtstagen der jeweiligen Kontakte.

In terms of functionality and features, it is great. It does however, have a connection issue which requires me to quit the app, reopen in order for it to reconnect.

Die Idee, die E-Mails auf dem eigenen Server zu speichern und zu verwalten, finde ich super! Ein großes Problem ist die ganze Terminverwaltung im Kalender: es ist auf dem Handy nicht vernünftig möglich Termin Einladungen zu akzeptieren: er erstellt mir dann einen Eintrag für den Tag, an dem ich die Einladung akzeptiere, und nicht für den Tag, der im Termin eingetragen ist. Bitte dringend nachbessern, und bevor man es veröffentlicht, sollte es bitte intern getestet werden!
Edit: kommt noch ein Update wie man Termin Einladungen besser akzeptieren kann, wenn die zum Beispiel von einem Google Account gesendet werden? 🤔

i love this app, a must have if you use synology mailplus server. please fix this issue: if i answer an email, ill get my own answer in CC. this is annoying.

C’est un bon client mail pour Malou. Bien intégré, facile d’usage. Malheureusement, il ne donne pas accès aux fonctionnalités les plus récentes à voir intelligence artificielle, qui est réservé aux utilisateurs, accident à mailplus à partir d’un navigateur internet. Mais je suppose qu’une version prochaine résoudra ce problème.

So good app, integration with symbology works perfect. Just two issues detected that I except will be solved soon: first sometimes images are not loading well, for example with apple mails, it’s easy to verify. Second it’s not possible to show contact name instead of the mail address.

Nutze die App in Verbindung mit dem Mailserver plus. Leider vermisse ich ein Feature. Bekomme öfters pkpass Dateien gesendet. Die App unterstützt leider nicht den Import in Wallet. Dadurch bin ich gezwungen auf eine andere App umzusteigen. Das nervt. Denke sogar daran wieder zurück auf die Apple Standard Mail App zu gehen.

I can’t seem to figure out how to select multiple emails, a long hold is standard but doesn’t seem to help and can’t see any menu options. 
Also noticed that sometimes after applying a filter and deleting one of the emails it removed my filter and goes back to the main inbox

The app regularly fails to connect with my NAS. It works for a while but invariably will simply stop making connections. I can find no information on Synology’s help portal for this issue.

The Synology MailPlus app is completely outdated. The developer has lost touch with the features that competitors offer. If you’re considering this product, you’re better off choosing the competition.

What app lacks:
- basic text formatting (size, style, type) for both the email body and the signature
- the signature doesn’t allow adding a company logo
- photo insertion doesn’t offer automatic file size reduction 
- the app contains no useful features beyond pointless calendar 
- forget about any kind of automation 

I have never had a worse email app on my phone.

In its current state, I DO NOT RECOMMEND it!

An sich ist die App ganz okay, aber ich finde es doch sehr bedenklich, dass oben links unterhalb des Benutzernamens mein Passwort in Klartext angezeigt wird. Auch wenn ich eingeloggt bin, ist das trotzdem ein No Go !!!

Ansich tut die App das was sie soll. Wenn man sie auf mehreren Endgeräten nutzt wird der Status einer gelesenen Mail nicht aktualisiert. Das kann schon nerven. Wenn ich in der Weboberfläche die Mail gelesen habe, zeigen einem die mobilen Endgeräte die Mail mit einer roten 1 am Icon. Es wäre super wenn man das Problem löst. Dann hätte ich aktuell nix zu kritisieren. Problem wurde mit dem aktuellen Update nicht gelöst. Dann warten wir halt nochmal 1 Jahr. Vielleicht beim nächsten Update. Warum der integrierte Synology Kalender das amerikanische Zeitsystem verwendet, obwohl alles auf europäisch eingerichtet ist bleibt wohl ein Geheimnis der Entwickler. Alles in allem ein halbherziges Update nach über einem Jahr. Anstatt ältere Sachen zu fixen baut man wieder weitere halbgare Sachen ein. Dann geht es halt weiter wie gehabt, gesehen - gelacht- gelöscht.

Das Problem liegt nicht an meinem iPhone. Hier ist alles auf Deutsch lokalisiert. Es wurde schon als Mangel im Synology Forum aufgeführt als die App noch im Beta Status war. Warum wird so etwas nicht vor dem Release behoben?

Jest już dobrze. Ale to wrażenie jest po zbyt długim oczekiwaniu choćby na tryb ciemny. Jestem z Synology od początku MailPlus, więc cieszę się, że skupia się na kluczowych pakietach. Oby tak dalej. Brakuje tylko zarządzania zadaniami. W wersji Web można maila przekształcić na zadanie i potem jednym kliknięciem można tego maila znaleźć. Tego najbardziej teraz brakuje. Można jedynie tworzyć wydarzenia w kalendarzu. Konfiguracja zadań przez Przypomnienia nie do końca spełnia oczekiwania.

Mail mit html Inhalt sind nicht lesbar, da die angezeigte Seite extrem „zittert“.

Update: Die App wurde scheinbar durch Beschwerden überarbeitet. Fehler wurde behoben. Die App funktioniert wieder wie gewünscht.

Adäquater Mailclient für den MailPlus Server, der statt über Standard Protokolle den gleichen Kommunikationspfad benutzt wie die anderen Synology Applikationen. So reicht ein freigegebener Port in der Firewall, und ich komme um die IMAP Konfigurationen und Freigaben herum.

公司最近將郵件系統換成了mailplus,擁有手機app基本上是方便的,但可惜的是可以設定的功能太少了，像是我們原本習慣了非會話群組顯示的郵件顯示方式，電腦版可以在設定裡選擇，但是手機版卻只能用會話群組顯示，不能調整
讓公司很多人都不習慣，老闆甚至說害他都找不到哪些郵件是要他批准的
（畢竟要這些老主管更改習慣是困難的）
