I’m giving a mediocre review for one simple reason. The app as it appears on the phone is called secure signin. Nothing to distinguish it from a dozen other sign-on apps I have. Bravo ! ### 2/5 — Nicht sehr benutzerfreundlich *2025-10-14* Oft wird am Desktop die Bestätigung durch Synology Secure SignIn angefordert, aber auf dem iPhone gar nicht aufgerufen. Diese App ist also nicht besonders ausgereift. Inzwischen habe ich sogar schon auf die zwei Faktor Authentifizierung verzichtet, weil es mir einfach zu unsicher ist, und ich womöglich als einzig berechtigter noch nicht mal Zugang zu meinen Daten bekomme. Die kommt immer, egal ob ich den richtigen Code für den richtigen User eingebe oder irgendwas anderes. Ergebnis: Kein Login bei „Synology Photos“ möglich, katastrophal! Abgesehen davon ist die Einrichtung auf einem neuen Gerät eine volle Katastrophe. Es ist vollkommen unklar, wo der zu scannende QR Code zu finden ist.
