### 4/5 — Engineer

*2025-10-28*

All of a sudden the sound is muted only in this app !

### 4/5 — More like Geosynth than Geoshred

*2023-01-18, version 2.1.3*

Very nice samples and functionality for basic play. Love the ability to add columns and rows and the old Rob Fielding GSy layout, ability to select mono/poly. I was excited to see this as I actually liked GSy better in ways than GSh though Wizdom techs thought I was crazy to say so. More limited than GSy without equivalent pitchbend function, no legato types as in GSy (better in no MIDI, no AUM - if those were added and with the Holy Grail of velocity touch sensitivity (early GS had but lost in subsequent versions) I would pay for pro without thinking twice. It is limiting not to be able to use with DAWs etc. Great effort and I might upgrade if it the dev advances the feature set, or makes another app more advanced in a similar vein like a MIDI controller for AUM, but only with the all important slide/pitchbend, concerning which Rob Fielding’s code for CANTOR (GSy precursor but absolutely just as good) is according to him now OPEN SOURCE!

### 2/5 — I want to like this but missing key features.

*2022-10-18, version 2.1.3*

Without AUV3 or at least IAA the usefulness of this app is really limited. Add that and this is a 4 star app.

### 2/5 — Interesting, but not “expressive”

*2022-04-29, version 2.1.3*

This app is a great introduction to these new keyboard layouts that we see, inspired by stringed instruments. It allows us to try these instrument layouts and visualize scales differently. For this, it is great. Thank you!

However, this app lacks the expressiveness claimed in the description. There is no attack sensitivity, aftertouch or other such controls on the keys making it an “expressive” instrument. Unfortunately, it has no MIDI connectivity either.

The upgrade price to have a few extra sound samples is unfortunately just not worth it.

Such expressiveness and connectivity is better found in pro apps like Geoshred or Velocity Keyboard.

### 3/5 — Needs midi

*2022-04-14, version 2.1.3*

The is a good app. Please make it a great app .
MIDI or even auv3 ?

### 3/5 — Sadly, not Pro.

*2022-02-22, version 2.1.3*

This is fun to use and the sounds are great! I will gladly pay to upgrade, under one circumstance: It NEEDS to be an AUV3, or IAA in the very least. I am a professional musician, and for me it is useless without. Good luck, and let me know when you update it.

### 2/5 — Issue with Sustain Option

*2022-02-03*

I recently purchased the pro version. There is some issue when I try to play with sustain key enabled. There are some instrument notes which never stop once played due to sustain key enabled. I have to disable the key or close the app to stop the sound.

### 3/5 — Good but bad pop up

*2021-09-22*

The app is good but the pop up to go pro comes up every minute. Hence it is not advisable to download unless and until you have decided to buy the pro version. It is nota free app. Only a sample app very irritating pop up. Instead of testing one getsto play once fora minute or more.

### 5/5 — Awesome App. Need more features !!!

*2021-08-28*

Beautiful synthesis of sound. Loving it so far.
Simple app with pro level sound.

Requesting more features.

Listing below.

1. Transpose button.
2. Dual tune mode (eg : Piano + Strings)
3. Record option to wav.
4. Simple metronome with tempo.

Thank you developers for such a wonderful app.

### 5/5 — Keep Up !

*2021-06-03*

Keep up the good work going

### 5/5 — Nice

*2021-05-12, version 2.1.3*

It is a very good app

### 4/5 — An amazing app at a low cost

*2021-05-12*

It is an amazing app at a low cost. But I’m not able to use it with GarageBand or any daw, which makes its use limited.

**Developer response:** Thanks for the feedback, I will add the AUv3 version in the next updates.

### 4/5 — It needs connectivity

*2021-04-18, version 2.1.3*

C’mon, it’s 2021!

### 4/5 — Fun instrument

*2021-04-17, version 2.1.1*

I have just discovered this interface type. Looks like GeoShred but less expensive. I paid for the 3.99 instrument update. The items with locks seem to play so I think that is what I bought.

I would like to see the slide feature improved to be smoother and not at least as an option not try to play wash not when gesturing across the screen and the mid wheel effect seems non existent on each pad but the vibrato works well.

This could be a great performance instrument and I am looking forward to see how I might be able to use it in my DAW sessions.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — I’m not paying

*2025-12-03, version 2.1.3*

No in app purchases

### 1/5 — Shameful Theft

*2025-04-13, version 2.1.3*

What can one say? It’s not GeoSynth. It’s too similar, but inferior, & it’s no coincidence.

### 1/5 — Logic for iPad issue

*2024-01-24*

The entire reason I purchased this app was to use as an auv3 MIDI instrument in login for iPad. However it doesn’t show up as an available audio unit in the list for both logic or garage band. Would be 5 stars otherwise. However this is very disappointing. If there is a guide on how to get it working with logic that would be great. Otherwise if it can be updated to allow this integration that would be appreciated too.

### 1/5 — Bad knock off of GeoShred

*2022-08-18, version 2.1.3*

They even plagiarized part of the product description from GeoShred. I feel tricked by downloading this product.

### 1/5 — I lost my money and asking to buy again. Fraud app

*2022-07-22*

Thank you for the response. One question. Why are the notes not sliding on the pad instead they sound individual notes? Isn’t that included with the app?

**Developer response:** Hi, you do not have to pay again, just open any locked feature and there is a button on top left to restore the purchase. Your all purchases will be back.

### 1/5 — Not sure

*2021-06-20, version 2.1.3*

I get no sound at all

### 1/5 — Cracker Jack toy compared to GeoShred

*2021-04-16, version 2.1.1*

Clearly this Cracker Jack App is “trying” to mimic (and rip-off) GeoShred. But it does not even come close by a light year. It lacks the sophistication, intelligence, and creative inspiration in width, and depth of GeoShred. It’s a download and delete app, not worth taking up valuable memory space on your phone or tablet, which can be better served recording your next TicTok video hit!

### 1/5 — Can’t record or use as plug in. Useless

*2021-03-14, version 2.1.1*

I deleted it in less than 2 minutes

### 1/5 — Basic and lacking slide ability

*2020-11-22, version 2.1.1*

This appears to be a copy of another app and is lacking in features.

### 1/5 — Refund

*2020-05-11*

Hey, I had installed the app and paid for the pro, but once I uninstalled and reinstalled, I m again asked for payment .
I am not able to see the restore purchase button. Can u help me ???? Why is no one replying to this thread ????

**Developer response:** Hi Aum,

Hi Aum, please select any locked feature and click on restore button. It will be restored.

Thanks

Smooth and soft playing

### 5/5 — Great Application

*2024-09-14*

Best music appreciation

### 5/5 — An underrated app

*2024-04-11, version 2.1.3*

I see other reviewers saying this app is a knock off of GeoShred but I’m not sure what their point is. Yes, it has “shred” in the name but it’s also a good app in its own right and should be judged independently. The grid keyboard layout is nicely done (and did not originate with GeoShred, by the way) and it works fine, and many of the sounds are quite good. The oboe certainly sounds nice and I like the piano as well. I just wish MIDI would be added.

### 5/5 — Tx very nice instrument

*2023-09-21*

Best quality sound

### 5/5 — Awesome app

*2022-05-08, version 2.1.3*

Would be great if you add AUv3 support also

The app is very good

Will be great if you can add midi in and midi out and AUv3 support

Hope you can add this in new update please

Thanks

### 5/5 — Love it!
