For example, a fire alarm section that does not contain pull stations or smoke detection of any kind.... a Healthcare section that contains absolutely zero Nurse call device options. I did search the web site to see if this was a limitation of the demo version, but wasn’t able to find anything, leading me to believe it’s just incomplete software that didn’t focus on key e Electronic systems that are present in almost every commercial building on earth. Update: While I appreciate your response, your updated pricing is kind of a “the juice isn’t worth the squeeze scenario”, and I have decided to move my team in a different direction as a result. **Developer response:** Hi there! We highly recommend checking out the System Surveyor 2.0 app to see our most up to date elements. ### 4/5 — Needs new features! *2023-05-09* Love the platform, but could be much improved with a few key features and fixes!! Would still recommend the investment, just know there are some frustrations. 1. Coverage area clipping - Need the ability to draw walls to create clipping areas for camera and motion coverage. Camera blind spot area would be nice too based off of the lens specifications - similar to IPVM calculator. 2. Ability to create custom elements. 3. Ability to do more “click and drag” management of sites on the web interface. 4. Multi Floor Support - Need to be able to continue element counts in sequence between floors and not have to do an individual report for every floor of a building. Makes it confusing when trying to present to a report to a customer and there is one per floor. 5. Auto save, version history, UNDO!! Fixes needed for the web interface: 1. Saving new element profiles works the first or second time, but then stops. Have to exit back out and back in to fix. 2. Invalid token errors consistently. 3. Make the interface more intuitive: think web version of google drive with click and drag, and right click menu that pertains to the software, not the browser. 4. FIX Google Maps!!! This is on the app and the web I think. Every time I start a new survey with google maps, I have to zoom in to the location I searched for, with no indication of knowing exactly where it is on the map because its zoomed out way to much! I’ve found its always at the center, but it can still be difficult to zoom to exact center. Then once I find it and add it in, the image changes to an older view, buildings dissappear, etc.!!! It has won us bids over competition every single time. Our close rate went to near 100%. Wish it had scheduling features like a gantt chart, so we could do more inside it from a project management aspect. Otherwise, this app is awesome! ### 5/5 — Does not upgrade to NEW VERSION *2019-06-08, version 4.7.2* Great software we love it. Does require same changes to make the software more friendly and less time consuming. However the current issue is that the App is not upgrading to new version. It says mandatory upgrade but App Store shows no update available. Please fix immediately We can’t access any of the surveys at this time. I will update my rating to 5 stars once that is fixed. Update: updates to 5 star. The issue was with iOS needing update that’s why the App Store wouldn’t allow the app to be updated to newer version. We appreciate your business and want you to love it - The System Surveyor Team. ### 3/5 — Ongoing price increases *2019-02-07, version 4.6.2* Don’t get me wrong this is a great app. I actually found this app a few years back when it was new and started using it for our new builds. After the first year the free version was more limited then it started out to be. Since our company requires anything that is purchased be included in a budget I placed it in my budget around October of 2018 for the 2019 year. Today when I went in to update due to new locations that we are building I went to purchase the update and found out the price has increased again. In October to get the subscription it was $376.00 now it is $540.00 just for a single user to use if you want multiple users the price goes up $540 per team member on your team. Since I can’t purchase again this year I will be looking for another solution.
