### 1/5 — Bad service

*2026-05-29, version 25.2.2*

We’ve had T-Mobile for years. Got Lumos fiber. Had at least 6 techs come out. It’s always dropping. Every tech complains about the last tech so it seems they all suck. About to cancel this service since I work from home.

### 1/5 — The app never works

*2026-05-29, version 25.2.2*

I have had T-Mobile fiber for about 6 months now and it sucks. That app NEVER works and the service is always out. I have been without internet for 2 days now. I am currently looking up a different provider in my area.

### 1/5 — My experience with TFiber

*2026-05-29, version 25.2.2*

This is the worst experience I have ever had with T-Mobile Wi-Fi and Internet. My router keeps saying that it’s connected. The light is green, but it will not connect to any of my devices in my home and I called T-Mobile customer service and they keep connecting me to technical support where they don’t answer the phone and they have you on the phone for at least an hour because they know that it is an outage. They keep gaslighting the customers when clearly it’s a problem with their Internet my Internet has not been working for the past 24 hours. I have been going through this since I purchased the Internet in October 2025. I am glad to say that this will be my last month. I will be going to spectrum I’m tired of getting gaslighted and the runaround about this Wi-Fi. I do not recommend.

### 1/5 — Good service, Trash App

*2026-05-29*

This has been the most stable connection in my area, very reliable. However, every time I open the app it’s nothing but errors, telling me to update app when there is no update, making me sign up and re register my equipment almost every time I log in. Major lag, internet will be disconnected, but app will say connected.

### 1/5 — Service Not worth it

*2026-05-29, version 25.2.2*

As everyone else has mentioned, we switched to T-Mobile about 4 months ago and the service is consistently being interrupted saying that the app is unable to connect and to make sure the app is updated. I honestly should have read the reviews before switching, big mistake on my part.

### 1/5 — Waste of data

*2026-05-29, version 25.2.2*

This doesn’t work properly and neither does the fiber optic cables. It’s horrible and when they send someone to fix it they don’t know the problem either.

### 1/5 — Absolutely terrible support and service

*2026-05-21, version 25.2.2*

I was an early adopter of fiber in our area. 3 months now and it has been nothing but problems. Constant loss of signal at the modem outbound, constant app issues. I have now had to re-create my app account 5 times as it will randomly state no account found. Register again with sane info, and the app will work a few more weeks, although it is pretty much useless. I’m’ve found you can do 99% more by logging directly into the modem instead if using this app.

### 1/5 — Login issues

*2026-05-13, version 25.2.2*

Keeps logging me out and then won’t let me log in because it “can’t find the associated account.”

### 1/5 — Problems

*2026-05-08, version 25.2.2*

Everyday I get a notice about “new device” on my network but they’re not new, same equipment. Also the time limits are difficult to set up and are a hour off (10pm is really 9pm etc) app crashes a lot and takes a long time to load. Often says I don’t have an account and make me sign up again and again.

### 1/5 — Won’t connect and does not show area outage/repair info

*2026-05-06, version 25.2.2*

The app keeps telling me it cannot connect and I should update to the latest version. When it does connect, it offers very little information.

### 1/5 — App

*2026-04-30, version 25.2.2*

Worst app ever. Never works. Delete it reinstalled it so many times. Never works. Terrible service

### 1/5 — Useless app before they even install your service

*2026-04-09, version 25.2.2*

Ordered T-Mobile Fiber 2 weeks ago.

No installation date, no update, nothing.

Decided to check the installation status but T-Mobile website blocks paste on the login field, so no browser on iPhone works with password managers.

Downloaded the app specifically because of that — and the app says my account doesn't exist.

So to summarize: no internet, no install date, forced to download an app just to log in, and the app doesn't even work.

The only reason I'm stuck with T-Mobile is they're the only fiber provider at my address. If there were any alternative, I'd have canceled already.

### 1/5 — Waste of time and energy

*2026-03-27, version 25.2.2*

Very bad experience with this app. Got the T-Mobile fiber about 5 days back and this app never work. Even with the technician this wouldn’t work and he set up my ssid by calling someone. The customer care don’t know about this app.

### 1/5 — Terrible

*2026-03-23, version 25.2.2*

App never works. Always get a popup telling you to either update the app or contact customer service. Neither of which solve the issue.

### 1/5 — Terrible app

*2026-03-12, version 25.2.2*

This app barely works! If you want an app to control the WiFi, especially for your kids, use Fing.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Worst app ever

*2026-07-05, version 26.1.3*

Everytime I open the app to check things, it makes me set up my router.. EVERY SINGLE TIME. Even when WiFi has been connected for over a year now. And today it won’t even let me set it up just to simply get into the app and see if the connection is stable or not. Regardless of scanning QR code or manually entering the info. Howww can yall run your business like this ?!

### 1/5 — False advertising stay away

*2026-06-24, version 25.2.2*

False advertising charging when service and equipment returned no customer service down systems terrible company totally avoid

### 1/5 — Useless

*2026-06-22, version 25.2.2*

90% the app doesn’t work at all.

### 1/5 — Good service, bad app

*2026-06-22, version 25.2.2*

The app is very new and needs a lot of work. I can’t update my modem/router or extender via the apps the UI is not designed well and it’s not intuitive. It needs to take ideas and design clues from Amazon eero.

### 1/5 — It’s a waste of money. Keeps crashing

*2026-06-21, version 25.2.2*

Every day I have to rest the box. I hate it

### 1/5 — Where are the notifications

*2026-06-16, version 25.2.2*

Turned on notifications and haven’t received a single one

### 1/5 — Poorly Built Software

*2026-06-14, version 25.2.2*

Downloaded latest version (despite it hasnt been updated in 8mos.) App cant connect cause its out of date.

Trying to find out why there have been 3 outages today. App is useless.

Service has been problematic. Never dealt with outages and blips like this on other carriers. The gigaspire takes more than 5 minutes to come back online too after any power disruption.

### 1/5 — Fix the app already!!!

*2026-06-14, version 25.2.2*

This app sucks. And there’s no way to even contact an agent through chat on the website!!

### 1/5 — Unable to connect

*2026-06-14, version 25.2.2*

This app hasn’t been able to connect since the day fiber was installed. What’re we doin here?

### 1/5 — T-Mobile Fiber is Trash

*2026-06-02, version 25.2.2*

I’ve had constant problems, this WiFi is useless…. It was cheap for a reason, they have a long way to go to provide decent WiFi. I’ll be going back to Xfinity…

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Service

*2026-02-26, version 25.2.2*

Wonderful service

### 5/5 — T-Mobile

*2025-08-27*

This is great service I love it

### 3/5 — Fiber Service

*2026-02-20, version 25.2.2*

I have had this service for four months and have not had a complete month without interruptions. The longest interruption lasted over night. The shortest lasted three to four hours. Fiber is supposed to be a more reliable source. Still have away to go. As I am writing this it just went down. What the hell!

### 3/5 — NO Parental Controls

*2026-02-18, version 25.2.2*

Update: I appreciate the response from TMobile Fiber. Although your app still does not give an option, or button for parental control under time limit as you stated…

Your app description claims to offer parental controls, but this is not accurate. Setting a time limit for a device is not considered parental controls. Gigaspire’s main website indicates that routers have the capability to restrict website access to specific sites; however, your app has removed this feature. You do not provide a method for families to safeguard their household from unwanted web access. It is unreasonable to expect users to utilize a separate app/service or third-party device to set these restrictions when the router is already equipped with this functionality. This lack of access is highly disappointing, especially considering the high-quality and reliable nature of TMobile’s fiber internet service.

**Developer response:** Hello M.ruckman, Thank you for your feedback regarding the T-Mobile Fiber: GigaSpire app. It looks like you were able to find the “Time Limits” options and just below that are the “Restrictions” where you can limit the use of applications, content, and specific sites. We have a FAQ on the T-Mobile Fiber site listed below that speaks to this as well. I’ve copied the specific GigaSpire section below. See #2 "Content Filters, Block specific sites or apps section" Here is a link to the FAQ and the T-Mobile Fiber site. • T-Mobile GigaSpire Parental Control FAQ: https://fiber.t-mobile.com/support/Troubleshooting-managing-your-network/How-do-I-set-up-Parental-Controls-on-my-routers-app-to-limit-internet-usage • T-Fiber site: www.t-mobile.com/home-internet/fiber If you need further assistance, please don't hesitate to reach out. ### 2/5 — App randomly lost my account and made the re setup a nightmare

*2026-05-29, version 25.2.2*

The app randomly said my account couldn’t be found even though my T-Mobile Fiber service was already installed and working. It then told me to make a new account and re-add my router, but required a QR code or manual device details that most people probably don’t keep after installation.

I had to dig up the original router box from last year just to find the MAC address, serial number, and QR code. The app also didn’t show my exact router model, so I had to guess the closest one. That is not user-friendly at all.

For an internet service app, this should be much smoother. If the router is already tied to my service, the app should be able to recover it automatically through my T-Mobile account instead of acting like I’m setting everything up from scratch again. Very frustrating experience.

### 2/5 — Problems

*2026-03-17*

Everyday I get a notice about “new device” on my network but they’re not new, same equipment. Also the time limits are difficult to set up and are a hour off (10pm is really 9pm etc) app crashes a lot and takes a long time to load.
