### 3/5 — Cannot refresh access on linked accounts

*2026-06-22, version 9.7.1*

The app just gets stuck on the “securely transferring” loading page. I have several institutions added and none of them refresh

### 4/5 — Could use some additional features

*2026-06-18, version 9.7.1*

Would be very useful to have a “month to date” on the chart, as well as a screen where you can see the performance of your investments by fund. Currently, you can only see overall performance, which is not useful if you need to rebalance based on market activity.

### 2/5 — Broken

*2026-06-05, version 9.7*

Now I can not make trades since the update. Please fix this.

### 2/5 — Glitchy, navigation issue

*2026-05-08, version 9.5*

I downloaded this app because my employer switched to troweprice for our 410k. My first complaint is that this is a very glitchy app. Frequently sending restarting you from the home page mid operation. Hitting the back button also takes you back to the home page rather than the page immediate before. Additionally it it difficult to navigate and make changes to your portfolio. This app will certainly test your patience. It’s a far cry from the user friend Schwab app I was used to.

### 2/5 — Seen much better financial apps

*2026-04-10, version 9.5*

It’s EXTREMELY SLOW or you click on a link and nothing happens. Frustrating. And they omit certain important documents and only make them available via the website.

### 3/5 — Withdrawals

*2026-03-05, version 9.4*

The app has issues when I try to generate a withdrawal of funds. After entering all information required, it doesn’t recognize my bank account number. It recognizes my bank routing number, but not the account number. Also it says to accept the terms, but nowhere to accept. It appears that I need to scroll down to bottom of terms, but there isn’t a way to scroll down.
And it says that you only have two chances to enter the banking account information before you get kicked out. Frustrating

### 2/5 — Graph over time is lackluster

*2026-02-21, version 9.3*

The days at the bottom don’t align with the days listed when hovering over the same data point. From the mobile app it’s not clear how to change the time scale when your account is newish. Graphs appear to be month to month and lack the granularity that I would expect from a retirement app.

### 2/5 — Stopped working after upgrade.

*2026-02-11, version 9.3*

I hate when developers change interface that well familiar and convenient for users. New one usually looks ugly with bunch of things nobody use.
But after latest upgrade it stopped working at all. I reinstalled it trying to fix the problem but no avail. Application starts with logo screen and sitting there without any intention to open login screen.
Useless !!!

### 2/5 — Needs Work

*2026-02-05, version 9.3*

I appreciate the solid financial products, but charting in the app is terrible. No granularity controls and more often than not the charts look like a flat block when looking at 3 month - 1 year ranges despite increases.

### 1/5 — 18+

*2026-01-11, version 9.2*

Why make this app 18+, no other investment app is 18+, please downgrade to 17

### 2/5 — Slow and clunky

*2026-01-04, version 9.2*

This app is terrible it says there has been an update but nothing looks improved.

### 1/5 — Broken for a week now

*2026-01-03, version 9.2*

Pages not loading. Activities page loads saying no activities, but there are a bunch. Deposit not appearing. It hasn’t been a very good week for T Rowe Price whose slogan is “Invest with confidence”…

### 2/5 — App needs fixing

*2025-12-31, version 9.2*

Not allowing me to add Wells Fargo or Computershare accounts as linked accounts on app!!! My app is updated.

### 1/5 — Many pages will not open or slow

*2025-12-18, version 9.2*

Slow and broken after December maintenance

### 1/5 — no dark mode

*2025-12-06, version 9.2*

and why does the app windows chop off the first two letters of everything on the left side? It's like the whole thing is shifted to the left, and it looks very amateur.

### 1/5 — Fewer and fewer features with every “upgrade”

*2025-12-04, version 9.2*

Worst investment app I’ve used to date, and getting worse. Basic features taken away. Almost grade school like. $13+ billion in assets and this is the best you can do?

### 1/5 — Antiquated

*2025-11-26, version 9.1.1*

Way behind other investing apps

### 2/5 — Can’t make purchases

*2025-10-16, version 9.0.1*

Lately I can’t even make a purchase via the app as I get an error every time. This is inexcusable. Do better. Fix this.

### 1/5 — Can’t login with Face ID

*2025-10-07, version 9.0.1*

Can’t login with Face ID

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Worst UI ever

*2026-08-10, version 9.7.2*

Pathetic UI. Doesn’t show anything about which is your best performer fund vs which fund was lagging! Learn from Fidelity you morons

### 1/5 — Disappointing roll over experience

*2026-07-12, version 9.7.1*

Roll over process is frustrating to say the least, the cover sheet opens in view form and cannot be downloaded to print, should have a option to email or save, Android app doesn’t even do anything when you click cover sheet link

### 1/5 — Amateur

*2026-07-08, version 9.7.1*

In a world where everybody does so much of their business on their mobile devices, you would think that a company is big as T. Rowe Price would understand the importance of having a top quality application. This application is horrible. Luckily for them, most of us don’t have a choice because we’re forced to use them through our employers, so T. Rowe Price doesn’t need to care about your opinions. I wish my company would go back to Empower, their application makes this one look like it was built by 16-year-olds in a high school computer class.

### 1/5 — Just use a computer

*2026-07-03, version 9.7.1*

There’s options that cut off and are inaccessible

### 1/5 — Just bad

*2026-06-14, version 9.7.1*

This is how you make a very bad app

### 1/5 — App updated but still asks for update

*2026-06-13, version 9.7*

No way to continue further

### 1/5 — Application Regression

*2026-03-25, version 9.4*

The application in the App Store is what I should see. What I get is something my child could develop in school. The application previously provided useful data in a digestible graph format. It’s now useless.

### 1/5 — Worst 401k app I’ve ever used

*2026-01-30, version 9.3*

Coming from Fidelity this app is trash. I can’t even view historical data. I have the latest version of the app on the newest iPhone. Been using the app for over a year. Data consistently will not load and features shown as screenshots are not available at all as a user.

### 1/5 — Ugly UI, doesn’t have basic features

*2026-01-29, version 9.2*

The UI feels outdated, making navigation difficult. Basic features such as total contribution and returns over a period are absent.

### 1/5 — “Technology upgrades delayed…”

*2026-01-17, version 9.2*

I’ve been seen error messages like this for three weeks now. Whatever their issue is they’ve had ample time to fix it. It’s time to fire their CTO and most of their software developers and hire someone competent. I only use this because that’s who my employer chose. Hopefully they’re reviewing that decision and will correct it soon.

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Easy app but missing remote deposit

*2026-07-10, version 9.7.1*

I appreciate the ease of use and user friendliness of the T Rowe Price app. love the colorful graphs and the color scheme but the one big disappointment is I cannot deposit checks remotely. I prefer not to use the ACH-EFT feature and depositing checks via the app would be a huge help and encourage me to deposit more assets.

### 5/5 — :3

*2025-05-24, version 8.7*

I really like that they give you the option between the updated layout and the old one

### 5/5 — Review of the iPhone and application

*2025-03-15*

Too bad for any update with an application all of the operating system on the iPhone indirectly you need to buy I love great model of the iPhone So indirectly you are forced to be buying you are you from Morales when maybe the one you have it is still working fine so that sounds like a rip offNot good advertising for Apple iPhone

### 5/5 — Works okay most of the time

*2025-02-06, version 8.3*

Rarely have any issues but lately the Face ID has not worked correctly on both the iPhone and iPad apps.

### 5/5 — Thanks!!

*2022-12-21, version 6.3*

Thank you for adding back the year to date screen, I am able to numerically see my gains and losses. Thank you for changing the app !!

### 5/5 — Annoying bug

*2021-10-29, version 5.7*

I keep getting notifications that I have been logged out due to inactivity despite having closed the app from running in the background.

### 5/5 — Performance Numbers Reported Later

*2021-04-07*

Compared with Fidelity, T. Rowe only updates the NAV and account values around 6-7 pm Eastern Time. Fidelity typically updates about 30-45 mins after market close. Morningstar and Marketwatch is often updated at least an hour before T. Rowe Price’s website and mobile app. Not sure how Fidelity has the ability to report / update 2 hours before T. Rowe. Many times, Capital Appreciation funds updates way late. Not sure why. Many someone has to count using an abacus.

### 5/5 — Great App - Face ID Fix

*2020-12-11, version 5.0*

Does everything I do with my account on line. Ease of navigation is excellent. If you change your password you’ll need to delete the app and reinstall to get face recognition to work again ... an Apple thing.

### 5/5 — Not able to login the app

*2018-12-14, version 3.20*

I called technical support and was suggested to delete the app and install again. But still not able to login. Error 1101

### 5/5 — Good overall performance, needs iPad optimization.

*2018-07-30, version 3.15*

The information is great but the iPhone screen is a little small and the iPad keyboard is much faster and more accurate than my thumbs. Need iPad and iPhone optimized either with another app (if its there it’s hard to find) or the same app.
