## What is tab?

tab-it keeps track of shared expenses on group trips.

Add an expense when it happens: who paid, who's in, done. tab-it works out who owes what and shows one simple balance per person. When the trip's over, settle up and you're square.

It's free. No ads and no subscription. Everything's included. We made it for our own trips because the alternatives kept charging for basics.

WHAT IT DOES

• Equal or exact splits. Two people can pay one bill, and someone who skipped dinner can be left out of that one.
• Per-currency balances. Spend in euros and pounds on the same trip and they stay separate, with no made-up conversion rates.
• Works offline. Add expenses on the plane or up a mountain. They sync when you're back.
• Attach receipt photos to expenses.
• Add people by email. They see the trip when they sign in.
• Push notifications for trip activity, if you want them.
• Settling up records who paid who back, so the trip ends square.

PRIVACY

No ads, no analytics, no selling data. We collect what the app needs to work and nothing else. You can delete your account in the app at any time.

Fixed Simplified expenses, and simpler UI

Notifications got a proper fix. Each one now tracks whether you've read it. Swipe right to mark one as read, swipe left to delete it. Once you've looked at the Activity tab, everything clears on its own, so the unread badge no longer stays stuck. Also fixed a glitch where a notification's text shifted around after you marked it read.

Split expenses by shares (2 for a double round, 0.5 for a half) or by percentages.
Fixed: if someone set their name after joining a trip, other members kept seeing their email address. Names now update everywhere.
