## What is Taba App?

Helping you get research funding.

Taba is software built for Engineering Faculty. Get custom funding opportunities, form PI/Co-PI teams and start on a proposal. Faster.

With Taba, you can management your grant initiation activities all in one place. Browse and filter your suggested opportunities. Find new collaborators by research interest. Create group chats and message others directly to discuss potential collaborations and get started on a submission.

Use Taba to:
- Find your perfect fit: Start with your suggested grants or get funding alerts, based on personalized keywords, to get exactly what you want. 
- Dig into the details: Check out the scope and what's due. Then, read the full announcement to learn what the sponsor's looking for.
- Team up with ease: Get matched with others as a Co-PI or find Co-PIs at your/other Institutions.
- Send a summary: Your sponsor is only a message away if you have any questions. They can also offer advice on whether the topic is suitable for submission before you start a full proposal.

- Fixed a bug in funding descriptions so you can easily click on the email and get a hold of the sponsor.

What's New

- Who's Interested: Within each grant opportunity, view who's interested and reach out to them for potential collaboration. 
- Team Up on Opportunities: Within each grant opportunity, click "I'm Interested" to let others know you'd like to collaborate. You can set your preferred role as a PI, Co-PI or keep it open (it's optional!)
- Team Up Profiles: On the Who's Interested list, click on potential collaborators and view their research interests and backgrounds to see if there's a fit.
