I had a transaction decline twice but the funds were deducted and Tabby has not been able to refund the amount even after repeated conversations with the most frustrating customer service to ever exist. The customer service of Tabby takes an hour to reply to every message. They assured me that the refund would be within 5 days, after the five days they asked me to wait for another 3 days and once that was over they told me it would take 32 days. No other bank in UAE will take 32 days for an amount to be refunded. **Developer response:** We always aim to provide our customers with the best experience. I have never dealt with such unsympathetic people. I lost my job and let them know very early on I would be a month or so late with making payments. I emailed their “help” email and waited 5 days, no response. I emailed again - still to this day I’ve had no response. I contacted them via live chat and asked them to put a hold on my account whilst I was searching for work and dealing with a lot at once. They gave me no resolution and demanded I make payment immediately despite my circumstances. I told them I couldn’t and I needed a solution, again they told me the only solution is to make payment. I then received countless daily messages from them with threats of legal action and constant reminders I had missed payment. I then went onto the app and used a credit card to pay a small fee of AED 30 to extend a due date to prevent further harassment from them. I tried to remove the card after this but it would not let me. They then decided to use that card to pay a huge outstanding bill which I had already told them I couldn’t afford and took the final bits of fund I had left. I requested they refund me urgently as this money was for basic essentials - in which they declined. I had to dispute this charge with my bank.
