## What is Table Talk?

Pull out your phone. Put it in the middle of the table. Watch the conversation start.

Table Talk is a deck of hand-written conversation cards for dinner tables, first dates, friend groups, and work teams. Every card ships inside the app, so the whole thing works in airplane mode, with no account and nothing to sign in to.

420 CARDS ACROSS SIX CATEGORIES
• Date Night — questions that actually go somewhere
• Family Dinner — cross-generational, nostalgic, everyone at the table
• Friend Group — playful, slightly roast-able, zero stakes
• Work Team — icebreaker-safe, no oversharing
• Deep Questions — substantive without being therapy
• Light & Fun — absurd hypotheticals, maximum laughs

Seventy cards in every one of them. No category is locked and there is no subscription.

TODAY'S PICK
A Daily Featured card, with a different one for every day of the year. It is worked out on your phone from the date — nothing is fetched, so it lands the same whether you have signal or not.

WOULD YOU RATHER
80 either-or cards for when the table wants something faster. Both options on screen, everyone commits, then argue about it. What you pick stays on your phone.

MADE FOR PASSING AROUND
• Full-screen color cards — one palette per category, readable across a table
• Swipe through any deck, and swipe back to revisit the card before
• Bookmark up to 50 favorites and run them as their own deck with Shuffle My Picks
• Share card — turn any prompt into a 1080×1080 image for the group chat
• Gentle haptics, and a switch to turn them off

FREE, WITH ADS YOU CAN TURN OFF
Every card is free. Ads are how the app pays for itself, and they are kept out of the way: never during a session, never on your first sitting, and only once you have been playing a while. Then it is at most one full-screen ad as you leave a session, and never more than two in a day. Remove Ads is a one-time purchase that clears them for good and restores on your other devices.

No account. No sign-in. Nothing to set up. Open it, pick a deck, start talking.

## Version history (last 4 releases)

### 1.1.2 — 2026-09-07

Privacy fixes: the analytics ID in Settings is now the real one your events are keyed by, turning analytics off clears everything still waiting to be sent, and crash reporting no longer sends session data.

### 1.1.1 — 2026-09-05

Adds anonymous crash reporting and usage analytics, with an opt-out in Settings.

### 1.1 — 2026-08-31

Table Talk 1.1 is the biggest update since launch.

420 CARDS, UP FROM 185
Every category now holds 70 — Date Night, Family Dinner, Friend Group, Work Team, Deep Questions, and Light & Fun. Bookmarks you saved in an earlier version still work. A small number of older prompts were rewritten to read better and to sit comfortably at a table with kids at it, and they kept their place in your saved cards.

DAILY FEATURED, ALL YEAR
Today's Pick now has a card for every day of the year instead of cycling a short list. Still worked out on your phone from the date, still nothing fetched.

WOULD YOU RATHER
A new deck of 80 either-or cards for when the table wants something quicker. Both options on screen, everyone commits, then argue.

ADS THAT STAY OUT OF THE WAY
Ads no longer interrupt a session. They can only turn up as you leave one, never on your first sitting, and only once you have been playing a while — at most one per session and two in a day. Remove Ads is still a one-time purchase, and if you already bought it nothing has changed for you.

Also in this update: a rewritten Settings screen with a plain-English privacy section, and a Rate Table Talk button that takes you straight to the review page.

### 1.0 — 2026-06-22
